Great pizza. I stop in every time I am in NYC. I often travel there alone and I’ve made note of how exceptionally friendly and outgoing the staff is, which is a huge bonus during the solo dining experience.
Ordered a margarita pizza for pick up. Possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten. Crispy yet chewy crust and delicious creamy mozzarella. The basil was flavorful, just wish there was a bit more. Too bad I live so far away because I can't get my fix whenever I want!
Outstanding food in a small quite little restaurant. Bartender was friendly and made great drinks. Perfect spot for date night.
With pizza literally in the name, how can I get anything but pizza. Maybe I am not cultured enough for the pizza connoisseurs out there, but this is really up there on best pizzas I've ever had. I came here with a party of 3 on a Saturday night and was seated promptly. The atmosphere was dark and cool; perfect for a small party to catch up and be enthralled in the atmosphere.
I got the Marguez pizza, which was excellent. The texture was great and the broccoli was a surprisingly good addition to the pizza. crust was quite good and the sausage was excellent. Really good pizza and no complaints from my end.
The service was also great. The waiter took the time to explain the different pizzas and how they're made.
Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here. I'm not a big pizza guy, but through Yelp, was able to find this place. As the other ratings show, this will not be a bad choice.
Great atmosphere and well prepared dishes, the pizza is well seasoned and flavorful.
The food was absolutely fantastic. One of the best pizzas I've had in the US. Staff and service are great. Downside is that there are a lot of un-announced extra charges: certain flours cost more, as they don't tell you that. Sodas aren't free refills (and are wildly overpriced), and they don't tell you that. Menus don't have prices on them. Great food and service (I also liked the ambiance), but expect to spend more money than is readily apparent.
Delicious authentic style pizza! You can taste the top quality ingredients and I love that you have options for crust. I've been back several times now and always recommend to friends looking for great, real pizza. They love it too!
Excellent pizza and salad. True Italian style. Met the owner and he's very focused on quality ingredients. It's also a relief to sit in a nice spacious restaurant without the brassy accoutrements of many corporate spots. A great addition for a neighborhood that was lacking a real neighborhood spot. This will now be ours.
Had the grilled octopus as a starter and it was great. The pizza was awesome as well.
A new place (opened just a week ago) and an instant hit. The appetizers and pizza last night were excellent, the concept of dough selection and choice of flour is a new experience, one of the best pizzas we ever had. Ambience and service are also very nice.
