Great spot! In town for a weekend getaway and my wife found this place. Walking in I wasn’t sure as the front is a more casual bar. The menu is incredible and our server was great. To top it off, the cocktails match. We will keep this on our NYC list of places to come back to.

My daughter and I stopped for a bite at their other Restaurant on 38th which had a 30 min wait. We were advised of this place and got right in. tho crowded we received the best service had to be atleast three people tending to us- fantastic food ( we loved everything). Had the shrimp app wow, clams and muscles in saffron hefty portion, lamb skewers, and two different crouquettes. My faves were the cauliflower pistachio. So happy we stopped here. Will definitely be returning! Thank you for a great experience.
One thing stands out: Brussels sprout. Lightly crisped on the outside, fresh on the inside, coated with an amazing sauce that is tasty and tangy. Charred octopus was pretty good, the portion was just a little small, but could serve as a nice light meal with the delicious potatoes that came with it. Came before the dinner crowd (they have happy hour in the afternoon) so it was a really pleasant and comfortable space for a chat. As the dinner crowd came in closer to 6pm, it got understandably a little noisy and the music also seemed to become louder.
Had an absolutely amazing experience. The risotto croquettes and braised short ribs are absolutely 10/10 and the staff is so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend and will come back any time i am in the area in the future.
Really consistent place for lunch, and from what I remember prior to the pandemic, a madhouse for Happy Hour. Food is still good, but like most, the menu has shrunk a bit. You should always add this to your midtown local list or always good list for food and beverages.
Came here before our show. Excellent food and desserts. We got the croquettes and flatbreads along with octopus and desserts to top it off. Such a blast. Service was good and we all enjoyed it.
A go-to in NYC. Consistently good food and drinks.
Offers a certain texture that's just hard to find.
The octopus is one of my favorite dishes, but everything is solid.
Went for lunch with two dear friends and their little dog, Phyllis. Request the booth if you can, it’s cozy! Food was excellent; we had fried flounder, octopus, steak, and yucca fries! They pay attention to detail with their cocktails, too. We loved our waitperson for being so accommodating and kind!
My favorite bar for after work happy hour drinks is open again! Have been here for drinks twice already since they reopened and it’s like it never closed. Drinks are great and the vibe is very chill, will definitely be back many more times.
We antes to go to the District Tao House but made the reservation for the wrong District. The are around the corner form each other.
I had the pork chops. They were so good! My friend got the Housemade Tagliatelle she was not as impressed either the taste as she was with the actually visual of the plate.
For dessert we got the chocolate molten cake it was really good as well.
The service was good.
I like the District Tap House betters tho.
Came here for brunch on Sunday. Had an amazing time. Food was excellent. Ordered steak and eggs and both were cooked to perfection. Bottomless brunch is a thing here. Very well priced place, good service and food. Oh and on Sundays it's drag brunch. Entertainment was on point. Had a blast.
Very tasty meals, I ordered eggs and steak, which was perfectly cooked, very juicy and tender. Highly recommend! They were busy during brunch hours so reservations are advised. Unfortunately, the portions were pretty small and meal selection not very large. The price, however, makes up for it, considering this is a brunch place in Manhattan. Would like to visit again but order appetizers in addition to a meal.
