A greatly underated establishment in New York. Superb customer service. The friendliest homliest bar/restaurant in New York. The staff are there years which speaks for itself but then so are the customers. You never know who you will meet when you drop in. Great front of house with Mary and Una. 2 b
This was our first of hopefully many times dining at Neary's. We saw the documentary on PBS (now on Amazon Prime apparently) and had to go. Una has followed in her father's footsteps wonderfully. We never met Mr. Neary, unfortunately, but I have much confidence that Dad would be proud. I am a sucker
We returned to Nearys after a long break due to Covid and our relocation. It's was an amazing evening seeing our old friends. Jimmy has passed but his legacy is in good hands with Mary and Una taking over the "Master of Ceremonies" position. All the staff is the same. Let's talk about the food the
