Gennaro Restaurant - New York City - Photo album

After 4 years away from the city I love, it’s good to know that in the post-COVID world, this oasis still exists. The Grilled Lamb Chops with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Sautéed Greens are still perfect. The Malbec is still a standout on the wine list and the Tiramisu is worth every bite. There’s nothi
I have been coming here for around 18 years. Food is still excellent and service is timely. I hope they are around for another 18 more. It used to be pretty loud, but that has been handled at this point. I recently went back and it is as good as I remember. I always get the kale salad, and I enjoy
Absolutely incredible and irreplaceable. My husband and I had our wedding dinner here after our big wedding had to be canceled due to Covid. My husband’s grandparents came here for years. The food is a unique and fresh take on classic, exquisite Italian. Every dish is thoughtful. Truly an upper west
A mainstay of the Upper West Side serving a wide variety of well prepared Italian fare. I've been eating there occasionally for years and have not been disappointed.
Ate dinner here for the first time and the food is amazing. Layers of flavors and sophisticated menu options. I had the braised organic chicken with capers and currants and flourless chocolate cake for dessert as I’m gluten free. Delish. Will definitely be back.
The food is delicious, I got the penne pomodoro. But the service could be better. The maitre d' was a mess. He couldn't even seat me with the rest of my party. I found them myself.
Everything was amazing but the gnocchi was truly melt-in-your-mouth good. Also ordered the fava bean salad, pappardelle oxtail ragú, and tiramisu. Everything was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and on their game. Felt like a great neighborhood joint and will definitely be coming back
Probably my favorite Italian restaurant on the UWS. Old school vibe with great food and wine. My wife and I are frequent customers. Can’t go wrong on the menu.
Absolutely amazing! The food was INCREDIBLE!!! The saltimbocca di pollo alla romana was cooked so well, definitely was noting like I’ve had before. The real star was our server Micheal! He was so informative and helpful. He really elevated the experience.
It was our first time in Little Italy and came across this awesome place. The food was awesome, we were able to try a variety of plates and my favorite was the Lobster Ravioli. Staff was awesome and it was an overall great time!
This is a very popular restaurant! There was a long line when we arrived but it didn't take too long to get a table. Even though they say no reservations on their website, you should still call and let them know you're coming. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. Every single dish we got w
my favorite italian place on the upper west side. doesn’t take card so bring cash. also doesn’t do reservations
Neighborhood staple forever. Teeny storefront expanded to 3 but still with consistently great authentic Italian. Worth traveling to
We had my godfather's 85th birthday here. They let us bring our own cake and they cut it and served it for us. The food is always great here. Traditional, Italian food. Always fresh. Service was fast and they were great at accommodating our party of 6.
Friendliest restaurent staff I met in New York. Very helpful, great food and great value too.
One of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. Helpful staff and decent menu. Great wine collection. Being a family owned restaurant, food quality has been maintained
