McGee's never fails. The food and atmosphere is great. No seriously, the food is hearty, authentic and is the real deal. Cap that off with a solid array of beers, signature "How I Met Your Mother" cocktails, and a great fun-loving atmosphere, you've got a great place to visit or call home! I'm in Jersey but always stop in when I'm in the neighborhood.

How I Met Your Mother Bar
This bar is not a rebuild of the bar from the Series but more of the Inspiration of the bar from the Series. Some People don’t understand that. We loved the Ambiente and the Service was a 10/10, the waitress even gave us recommends for our lasting time in New York. I can only recommend this Place and even recommend it more if you watched HIMYM
It has a cozy and friendly atmosphere, with a great menu of cocktails. Foods are good in terms of quality, but a little pricey which is no surprise, it’s NYC!
The people working at McGee's Pub are very gentle and caring. The atmosphere of the pub is nice and welcoming. However, it can easily become too crowded.

I have zero complaints, service was excellent, the most welcoming and friendly staff all around, my waitress a lovely blonde lady was superb, she went above and beyond to check on me and help me... the food oh my goodness so I had the nachos and they were divine, freshly made tortilla chips, a huge portion for the price, and so nicely put together, layered with alot of care... the vibe of the pub itself is brilliant, three floors of different music for a different feel... I sat on the first floor, oddly by the toilet I realised at the end of my meal, but I happily watched the interactions from the staff throughout my meal... in my time in new york, this is the most at home I've felt, the staff truly care and its so cosy and comfortable... I have not tipped yet while here as I don't believe in tipping for the sake of tipping but these guys have one and a huge thankyou.
I recommend here whole heartedly and when I return to new york I will be returning!!
This was a fun place to visit if you like “How I Met Your Mother” tv series. Although the show was not filmed here it was the inspiration for the setting of the show. We had show inspired drinks. I have the Robin Sparkle, yummy Crown Royal apple pucker and cranberry juice. My daughter had Don’t Drink Tequila.
took my friend to watch the himym finale here and he mf cried . love a spot that reminds me this show is alive and that people still love it as much as i do.
Fun Irish bar with lots of How I Met Your Mother memorabilia and themed cocktails. They operate table service and the staff are efficient and friendly. Fries came quickly and were pretty good.
Amazing wholesome and filling food, exactly what I was after.
Great venue to watch sports if that's what you're looking for and a large area of Alcohol behind the bar for you to choose from

I am a HUGE fan of How I Met Your Mother, so I was so excited to be staying close to the bar that inspired it. Our server was great and very welcoming. Food was fantastic.
We went to McGee on recommendation and we found it 100% true. Meals were great, Service outstanding and Christmas full present. Thanks to the team of McGee!
