Came in for their Traditional Sunday Roast and had scotch eggs and the roast beef and chicken.
The flavor of the scotch eggs was very good! The sausage was seasoned well with spices and herby flavors, but the yolk was too hard boiled for my personal tastes as it was hard boiled to being a bit crumb
Friends and I came here tonight. It was a cool time. Festive Christmas decorations. The Wassail was good! The food could have been better. I ordered the pot pie, and it was just filling with a puff pastry on top...and i got salad but they gave me no dressing lol. Pros and cons, pros and cons.

Booked a table for Christmas Day. Ordered 3 course meal. Nice and cosy with Xmas music in the background. Service was very quick. No long wait for a drink or food. The only criticism was that the Brussel sprouts were too hard needed a bit more cooking time.

I attended for a function and was impressed at how quick the service was. They had lots of interesting nooks and crannies and the staff was quick and super-efficient. Ill be going back on a regular basis and bringing friends!

Service was great. Food was good if not great. Fish & chips was ok but not much flavor (maybe this is just normal British cooking?). Apps were all tasty. Nothing mind blowing but nothing terrible. Just needed some salt.
