We searched for great dim sum in NYC Chinatown and found it! The crab fried rice was so tasty and we loved the hot and sour soup. It was sweeter tasting than most but it had an addicting flavor, it was full of fresh vegetables. I would highly recommend this restaurant for great Chinese food in NYC.
Authentic Chinese food with great offerings like Peking Duck, garlic pork ribs and braised beef brisket. You know it’s good because they offer you plates deliciously prepared but with a no frills approach eg the pork ribs actually come with rib bones and the whole duck is served up. Get the crab fri
I am totally give this restaurant a five-star rating. Having eaten here really made my fiancée and I feel like a true New York Chinese restaurant. We started our dinner here first with a Wonton soup like I love doing nearly every other Chinese restaurant I go out to eat. It was a great soup. But jus

Ping’s is the best seafood in Chinatown! Food: 9.5/10. Excellent portion sizes. XO sauce comes at the table. We got the mixed tofu and seafood stone pot, BBQ quail, shrimp dumplings (har gow), and XO sauce stir fried rice rolls. Everything was amazing! The seafood was fresh and well seasoned, and t
3.4.23 - solid dinner with generally good service. Really nothing to express other than it's popular among locals and tourists and the pricing seems okay. Their lunchtime dim sum is also very good. Overall, you can't go wrong here, but be wary that sometimes the staff can be a little too direct and
The prices here have gotten a little out of hand since the pandemic, but the food is very good. The crispy garlic chicken is fantastic! Also: prices on the menu are still lower than the prices they actually charge you - off by a couple bucks depending on what you order. We were still able to have
Everything here is just awesome. Highly recommend the siu mai, bbq pork buns, and salt/pepper squid.
Food was good overall, but some when you have a party of eight, they try to upcharge you on the dishes. A few dishes were doubled in size, but it would of still been plenty as there were still extra with a couple of doggy bags to take home. The meal ended with some sweet red bean soup.
Loved this place! The atmosphere is great and the space is clean, employees are all very friendly, food hot and fresh, with unbeatable prices. Ordered seafood shumai and a pork (and beef, I believe) rice roll. Both dishes were so delicious, had amazing flavors and were just melt in your mouth good.
Really enjoyed the food here! A friend’s recommendation for good dim sum in Chinatown. Despite the snaking queues, we were fortunate to get seated pretty quickly at one of the private rooms by the main road. The service provided was exceptional and food came pretty quickly. The fried squid is a defi
OMGOODNESS you need to eat at Ping’s! Tip: Time it out closer to 2 PM so you can order dim sum and then a regular menu meal. D I V I N E! We had a party of ten and had the most amazing meal and time. Very pleasantly surprised by how well service was and the food was even better. Prices here may not be as cheap as other establishments but still reasonable but food was above average to excellent. Will definitely be returning!!!!
The food was fantastic and quite pricey. It is the best Cantonese restaurant in the town.
Visiting China Town? You definitely have to stop here. This restaurant is very authentic, the food is absolutely delicious 😋 and the staff is very friendly. We thought it was going to be expensive but not really, prices were more than reasonable for all the delicious dishes. Try the Short ribs w
The dim sum was a bit pricey but the food was very good. Well worth the extra money. Besides the dim sum their made to order rice or noodle stir fry was also very good. You get that “wok hay” - a particular aroma that comes when stir frying is done right. Very few places have chefs that can execute
Marvelous spot on historic Mott Street to grab some quick & delicious dim sum. Not enough space for the usual trolleys, & diners must climb stairs, but the menu is easy to negotiate, we quickly picked 4 options with our jasmine tea, were in and out in under 45 minutes, no waiting.
No frill authentic dim sum. Our absolute favorite is the fried shrimp on sugarcane stick. Soooo good. Services are good for China Town. Highly recommended.
