We were looking for good food at a good price and found both here. The food was great, price was fair, and the service quick. Our waitress was very accommodating to our family of four, which included 13, and 10yr old picky eaters. We highly recommend it.

Penne ala vodka and chicken parmesan are delicious. The wait staff can be more attentive as we waited for a long time for him to come and see us so we could ask for the check. My husband had to get up to find him so that we could ask for the check.
The table we sat was not clean either.
For the delicious food, i would go again.

This place was amazing! The staff could read our minds and brought over whatever we needed while we ate. The owner came out to talk to some regulars and hearing him discuss the neighbourhood and starting this place was a real treat. Recommend the garlic knots and the Caprese. I always love going to this gem. You have to get the Chicken Parmesan mini sandwiches that come rolled in their garlic knots. So freaking good. The pizza is your quintessential New York slice. You really can't beat it and it's inexpensive. And Don Filippo is always going to be consistently good no matter when you go. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

One of the two places we tried pizza at in NYC. Crust is very thin but still managed to hold its shape and support all the toppings on top. We got the margarita and the chicken caesar and both were good. Large portion sizes and price was fair.

Had to grab a quick, well priced meal before heading to the airport and Don Filippo did not disappoint! Wide selection of slices to choose from and the garlic knots really are delicious. Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in the city!

While walking around the streets of Manhattan, my best friend & I were exhausted & starving. We couldn't find anywhere to eat that actually had seating, and then we found Don Fillipo's. The food & service were amazing, and the place had great vibes. We left completely satisfied & recharged. I would recommend this place to any visitor to NYC looking for fantastic authentic New York pizza. Very affordable too!
