Fell across this bar on a long walk back from battery park.
We were only staying for one and 4 drinks later….
Such a great find. Cathy is awesome and it’s the first pub we’ve been to in NYC that the bar staff took notice but we had such a laugh.

Very cool Irish pub! Staff is great! Cathy is wonderful. My adult daughter and I split the Hell's Kitchen Burger. It was fabulous! The onion rings are top notch and the beer is nice and cold! Will definitely go back.
I came on a Saturday evening and it was pretty packed. Supposedly we only wanted to order drinks but then I decided to get food. The fish and chips were really good. Overall there was good service and food.
Good bar for a few beers and a bite to eat, not pretentious, just a good welcoming pub. Bartender did a great job of keeping on top of all the customers and knew how to pour a good Guinness, would definitely go again
Our 1st & only date night in NYC... this spot was warm & welcoming. The bartender was gracious & engaging. We will definitely visit again.
Great spot to watch a game and relax. The service was excellent, even though she was a Steelers fan. Food was solid if not spectacular. The beer was fresh from the tap and super tasty. I highly recommend you stop here and enjoy a real pub experience!
I am one that absolutely love irish pubs and this place is truly exceptional. My server/bartender Catherine was friendly and in spite of being busy was very attentive. My food came out fast and everything tasted great. The burger I ordered was cooked to my liking and the fries had the perfect amount
Called in for a quick one and ended up staying for a couple of hours talking with bar tender Katherine. She’s an absolute gem. Good beer great conversation, regulars coming in for drinks. 100 % recommended. We wish we had found this bar on our first day instead of our last

Really nice friendly service from Catherine and the owner of the bar. Beer well priced (and cold!) ordered a Hells Kitchen burger which was amazing! Cooked perfectly and great portion size. Highly recommend visiting Scallywags if you're in the area.
I really liked it a lot! It is a nice place, very clean and neat. The service is good and kind, and the food is really good, I enjoyed the chicken wings (honey BBQ and Honey garlic), it comes with carrots, celery and sauce. You should definitely try those. The beer is also good and the happy hour is

Dropped in for a pint while on a stay in New York and it didn't disappoint. Great pint of Guinness with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and the owner and staff were very engaging. Will drop in again next time i'm in New York, recommended!
