White Oak Tavern - New York City - Photo album

We came here because we live nearby and were too lazy to go far given we were up from 4am for the Macy's Parade. Therefore, no real expectations. But White Oak is fantastic! Surprised people don't talk about it more. The food is great and not that expensive relative for these sorts of things in Man
The Bacon Mac and Cheese was very good. I had a Threes Brewing ale of some sort, which was tart and heady, yet also a solid beer. I've always liked the earthy vibe at White Oak, and that has not changed. Nice enough bartender; not enough pretty ladies to flirt with but maybe I'll have better luck n
We stumbled upon this location as we strolled through the streets of Manhattan. We decided to stop by for a quick lunch and happy hour drinks before heading out to our scheduled engagement. Very spacious corner pub with your typical English vibes and decor.
Great place for lunch if you're not on a budget. The fish & chips were delicious and the burger was amazing as well. The service was friendly without being overbearing. Our tab was $50 without tip for just two people and only water to drink. The food was worth it, though! Plus, we loved the atmosphe
Authentic and beautifully decorated English style pub with great service, food and drink. A really good selection of whiskies available. Highly recommended 👍
Excellent food! One of the best burgers we have had in the city! Favorite Dishes : Dry Aged Burger & Grilled Cheese!
This is my favorite pub in NY. Great food (love the mushroom bolognese), great cocktails and a huge selection of whiskies. Service is great - fast and friendly. The real difference is the atmosphere because it pulls in a mix of locals from the area, tourists and students. If you’re in the area and f
Chill atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and a good selection of drinks. Would definitely come back here.
Gear place with a great vibe. Bar has very comfortable stools with leather seats and chair backs.
Delicious apps, soups and more. The burratta, the butternut squash, the crispy brussel sprouts, blackened chicken sandwich. Very nice whisky 🥃 selection.
It was a date night out with my husband last night, and I fell in love with this place. The prices are fairly affordable, the atmosphere, the music, the decor, oh yes! It has been a favorite spot for about 20 years back when it was Caliente Cab. But this establishment was perfect. You have to come
This place is absolutely charming. So cozy. The drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere can't be beat. We lived across the street but during COVID so we didn't get to visit then, but very glad we made it eventually as it's the perfect neighborhood bar.
We were here late night. Super friendly staff. Cheeseburger was perfectly good and had a great flavor from the grill. Guinness was pored properly. Fish and chips were solid, batter was great tho the cod was a little fishy for my style. We’ll be back.
The vibes here are so good. I went around the holidays and not only were the decorations gorgeous, they also had a special peppermint drink that was delicious. It’s usually a little busy since it’s right by NYU, but I’ve always been able to find a seat at the bar. Definitely a place to check out.
Great foot and vibe. Salmon and broccoli was really tasty. Cuban sandwich too. Ordered a coffee at 9 at night and it was fresh and hot. White oak ale on draft is ice cold.
Absolutely delicious food with great happy hour deals! It has a very warm and cozy environment. Especially during Christmas time.
Didnt have any food but it's a popular spot for it from what I hear. What's the female word for bro? Folks arent unfriendly, but not a spot I'd frequent; just not my vibe, but nice place to sit for cocktails outside. The service tho', one waiter, sweet, charming, funny and super cute family (my quee
