Peacefood Cafe

I'm a picky, long time veg eater from nyc, so I know some of the best restaurants on the East coast. This is one of them. Went again last night and was blown away by the balance of complex flavors, texture, and nutrition. Plating and environment were excellent. I got crab cakes and turmeric/ginger/oat milk latte. All were carefully balanced as above. Congrats to the chef and staff.

Peacefood always hits. I'm not vegan but I keep coming back. Normally I'd go for the chick'n and waffles (I can't get enough), but I branched out today and went for the pumpkin cashew quiche. It was denser, drier, and softer than egg quiches so not necessarily what you'd expect, but it was nicely seasoned and good with a little sriracha. It'd probably be better if Peacefood offered some aioli or other sauce on the side for additional flavor since it's on the milder side. I've also enjoyed the cashew pumpkin sandwich, the pfc tenders, and highly recommend the chickpea fries.

Great restaurant, a little bit on a fancier side but the atmosphere was very friendly, we felt taken care of, we were asked if we enjoyed the meals, they informed us about today’s special offer etc. Food was great, with a homey feeling! Portions were huge, we unfortunately didn’t eat any dessert because we were so full😅 Would highly recommend

Amazing vegan place. The staff are sooo kind and professional, it’s actually the best restaurant service we’ve experienced in NYC! For the food we only tried the tiramisu and NY style vegan cheesecake and both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for both the excellent service and desserts as well.

This was some of the best vegan food I've ever had in my life, by far. The restaurant was clean and quiet, the server was super friendly, the food came out fast (even though it was busy during lunch), and the food tasted outstanding. Finding vegan food at this level of skill and flavor is really rare and I'm so happy I got to try it. If you're ever in Manhattan, Peacefood is a must.

Cute vegan spot near Union Square. I tried out their vegan crab cakes and my friend tried their teriyaki cutlet, both of which were delicious! Not to mention, the cook staff NAILED the presentation of each. For dessert, I personally liked the banana bread best, but wished that the banana had been mixed in a little bit more into the dough. Also had vegan cheesecake and a raspberry tart which were good, but not life changing.
