They have lunch specials to choose from (or you can order off the menu). I love to try new things. One of the items the special was a beet ball (not sure the Indian name... some sort of kahfka) that was amazing! I had the fish curry, which was also very good. The Naan was cooked perfectly. The rice pudding was the best I've ever had. I ordered a mango Lasse after lunch and it was incredible! I will come here again the next time I'm in NYC.

Great food and price, portion sizes a bit small but price more than made up for it. Goat vindaloo could have been a bit spicier

This is the second time I am catering from Darbar and working with Mike. The food is amazing, and the service is unlike any other. Mike is so attentive to what I want for my event. The food is delicious and always perfectly seasoned; it's always a big hit among the guests. I will definitely be catering future events with Mike at Darbar as the experience is always wonderful.

This restaurant was quite busy and we had early dinner here. The food was tasty and portions generous however, they add 18% gratuity charge to your bill so just be aware of this. We were not happy about this.

Darbar Grill is absolved impeccable! I’m in from the UK for the week — and have to admit that Darbar is as good as any Indian restaurant I’ve been to in London (and far better than the vast majority of them). Everything is done with meticulous care. Started off with the onion bhaji — absolutely delicious! Crispy on the outside with perfect color…tender and delicious inside. For my main, I had the Chicken Mirch Bhuna which again was superb. Definitely on the spicy side with an impressive balance of flavors. It looked and tasted like it was made in someone’s home. Wonderful! Also notable was the naan which I seriously think was the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. Phenomenal! The service was professional and gracious and the restaurant is immaculate. The only downside might be, for some, that it’s a little pricey. BUT this is a first rate restaurant and the prices are in keeping with the level of its quality. As for the food and service — faultless.

Excellent cosy and high end Indian food. Full bar and attentive service. High standard of food presentation and flavorful and authentic cuisine. I was hosting a business dinner and our friendly waiter helped my guests order Indian food for the first time. Highly recommended .

Wonderful Indian food will await you at this restaurant. I started with Tandoori Vegetables which came with two marvelous dipping sauces, mint and tamarind. The main course was Chicken Tikka with Lemon Rice and Garlic Naan. The chicken also came with a very tasty dipping sauce. The food was very flavorful without being too spicy or hot. The lunch was finished with a not to be missed rice pudding.

The tandoori chicken platter (served in a bento rather than in small thali bowls) was a very satisfying lunch. The spice level for the lentils and the fritters was just right. The only part that I didn’t care for as much was the mango pudding (too sweet).
