Loved their birria tacos and the comfortable atmosphere. Although the guacamole, chips and salsa were a little expensive I still enjoyed them. In Texas most of the Mexican restaurants provide free chips and salsa. They have a limited selection of beer, but I was happy with the one they had.

Absolutely solid place. Three of us went to dinner on a Saturday at 7pm. We sat at the bar. Food is absolutely incredible. It’s so simple and just perfect. Guac was thick w a kick, same thing w the salsa - not watery but thick and spectacular. I would absolutely come back.

From Arizona, familiar with true Mexican. This is the freshest Mexican I have EVER had. Recommend to anyone looking for authentic fresh Mexican.

Excellent food and service! We happened to walk around NYC and decided to stop here for dinner, what a pleasant spot for delicious Mexican food in the city! Delicious guacamole! The pork taco, chicken, and fish taco were all wonderful. Great crisp on the fish taco. Maybe little spicy, but not too hot. The street corn is wonderfully seasoned. It also happened to be my birthday when we went and happened to mention it to our server, while we didn’t plan on dessert they brought us an ice cream to split. It was wonderful! We’ve been back a few times since, it’s our new go to spot for Mexican in the city!

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. This was hands down the best service I have experienced in New York City, probably in all my 5+ years of living here. Had an amazing server (named Ricardo, if I remember correctly?) who was on top of EVERYTHING. made amazing recommendations. tailored dishes and drinks to avoid spicy- and sweet- aversions from our group. Was super attentive but not overly so. and the food was amazing too! Cannot recommend enough. I ate here weeks ago and am still thinking so much about the service I decided to write a review because it was just. that. good.

Enjoyed the overall vibe and the service! I tried their tacos and chips + guac, and I thought their guac and salsa was decent but not anything special, especially for the price. Their tacos were quite flavorful on the other hand, and I recommend the shrimp and beef tacos.

Incredibly solid with good flavors and reasonable (for this neighborhood) prices. Portions are not grossly huge, and the dishes aren’t drowning in grease or cheese. This isn’t tex-mex and thank god for it. The ambience is great on a summer day with their mixture of indoor/outdoor seating.
