As usual, the best experiences are had when you have no expectations!!
Ordered the truffle pasta (white sauce) and the lobster pasta (red sauce). After some thought, I still cannot say which one was better.. ☺️☺️
Highly recommend for a date or fancy night out!

The service was exceptional. They checked on us frequently. Watching the chefs make our food was totally different than what we are use to. You can see the attention and care of the chefs.

Such a great experience! I did the 3 course tasting and it was so wonderful, all the pastas were delicious and perfectly executed. My favorite was the truffle pasta! The vibe was so New York City as well! Love it!

I had an amazing experience at A Pasta Bar in NYC! I first heard about this place last year but couldn't secure a reservation. So when I had the opportunity to return to NYC this year, I didn't hesitate to give it a try. It's known for its pasta specialties, so pasta was the main attraction. Before diving into pasta, I ordered a scallops dish, and it was impeccably prepared. For my main course, I went with the beef ragu pasta, and it was truly fantastic. The pasta had that perfect al dente texture, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. The open kitchen concept was a delightful bonus; we got to savor our food while watching the chefs at work. 🍝😄

We had a decent experience at A Pasta Bar! The cocktails, "Unknown Caller" and "Sunday Afternoon," were exceptional. The burrata with pistachio and tomato jam was extraordinary, but the caccio e pepe was a bit disappointing. The papardelle ai funghi, unfortunately, was excessively salty. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but I would still recommend it for the cocktails and appetizers.

Dropped in here after a day of shopping and was not disappointed. Hostess got us some drinks while we waited for a bar seat. Fresh pasta made to order in front of you. Great atmosphere & good. Highly recommended

The burrata with tomato paste & pistachios, cacio e pepe, and virgin mojitos were my favorite. Over every dish was delicious and such a great experience seeing the open kitchen concept in the center of the restaurant.

Beyond expectations! Service was outstanding- we did the tasting menu and a burrata- delicious. Also, the tiramisu! Amazing!

I visited A Pasta Bar with my spouse, our second time dining there. The first visit on Valentine's Day was memorable, featuring a prix fixe menu with exquisite wine pairings. It was such a memorable dining experience and I couldn't forget the creamy Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero.
This time, we went for an early evening dinner to try their pasta sampler, which includes five distinct pastas that vary based on the chef's selection. Our lineup included the Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero, Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, Raviolo Ripieno, Spagetti Alle Vongole, and Rigatoni Rosa.
As expected, Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero, a personal favorite, held its position at the top of my list. Its rich flavors never fail to impress. However, it was the Ravioli that truly stole the show. I did not expect it to be so good! The depth of flavors in each bite had me craving more, and I'm already planning to order the full-size version next time.
My rankings for the five pastas, in order of preference, stand as follows:
1. Tagliatella Al Tartufo Nero
2. Raviolo Ripieno
3.Tonnarelli cacio e pepe,
4.Rigatoni Rosa,
5.Spagetti Alle Vongole.
To be clear, all of them were delightful, and the competition was tough, but the top three truly stood out!
The restaurant's ambiance was inviting and aesthetically pleasing. We sat indoors, but there was lot more outdoor seating than I remember from our first visit. There seemed to be a collaboration between A Pasta Bar and the brand Boss, with branding elements like A. X Boss on napkins and decor. Our bill even included a coupon for shopping at Boss.
We decided to try the Tulum Ave and the At the Disko from the cocktail menu. The drinks showcased creativity and attention to detail, with visually appealing and tasty options that complemented the pasta dishes. The entire electronic menu had an attractive visual design, and the photos are so helpful with making selections.
I'm looking forward to returning to A Pasta Bar time and time again. Would definitely recommend! 1000/10!
