First off this place is a place to go for the views. The NYC views. It looks so beautiful when the sun is going down. There is a reservation spot up on the roof which can be romantic. Other than that its self serve. The lobster roll is one of the best ones I've had in NY so far. Chicken sandwich is
We had the boat to ourselves it seemed. The ambience was so pleasant we stayed for hours watching the sky darken, as night fell. You can buy beers from the pier and bring them on board. Everything about it was magical. The gentle movement of the vessel was calming too.
The food here has improved over the years. The place is still the top destination for waterfront bar experience! I have to especially recognize how clean they've maintained the bathroom here, it's exceptional for being in the NYC bar scene and on a swinging barge!
I go mostly when my kid is sailing or at the HRCS Boathouse. The food is excellent and the view of the River is nice. If you are sensitive to the barge moving it might not be a great fit because the barge does move with the tide and wake of larger boats that pass by.
The food is delicious but becau
Excellent place for seafood. It had awesome vibe. Adults only place due to the alcohol. You order yourself and pick up your own food. Is really nice on sunny βοΈ day. If you go out to the end of the pier you can have 180 degree view of the water. The 1lb peel and eat shrimp π¦π€ is very nice. The tacos
One of the coolest restaurants Iβve ever been. I love the fact that this is actually a ship.
Food was delicious and the atmosphere just incredible
Had been on my list of places to visit and it did not disappoint. The food was good, the drink was delicious once we mixed it. I was getting a bit of motion sickness from the boat rocking but tolerable.
Overall rating: 4.8
Man, I have not been here in a minute. When my friend told me we were hanging out here, I wasnβt that excited because my memory of it in my 20s were meh.
That said, wow, has it upgraded?! I only have one photo but it is back on my favorites and will definitely be visited again.
Gorgeous boat with a ton of seating options and areas and good, reasonably-priced food! Great for big groups because of space and also because you order at the bar and everyone pays for themself.
A fun getaway in our home turf (or is that home surf?). Good draft beers, fun cocktails like the Spicy Watermelon Rita, and good seafood fare plus salads and burgers for the non-fish lovers. Multiple doors and levels to sit, both outside and covered. A fun time.
Love the vibe, you can watch sunset on this giant boat. The bar is the best, love all the drinks especially the signature white sangria, the appetizers are so-so.
But given the prices, this is a solid place for dates, for family and friends.
Will come back next time!
Had a nice lunch on a hot Saturday afternoon. Weβre eating Keto and the restaurant was perfectly happy to alter our brunch Maryland crab cake hollandaise to suit our needs. Service was friendly. Place was clean. Great for small and large parties and kid friendly.

It was a pretty cool environment, especially with them being able to sit us directly along the water on the pier. I tried the fish and chips and loved the malt vinegar powder sprinkled over it. The flavor was great with and without the tartar sauce, and the portions were plenty enough for me (I'm a
It's an incredible place. The view of the city is spectacular. They could improve on the food and the presentation of the dishes but it's ok.
I canβt speak to the bar scene here, but I was at the Frying Pan on a weekday for a work event at it was gorgeous. The food was surprisingly good for a bar, and the views were spectacular. Iβll be coming back.
