Convenient breakfast/ brunch spot located close to grand central. The ambiance here was really nice and homey. Our server Eric was really helpful and gave us good recommendations on what to order as well as recommendations on tourist sites in NYC which was really nice.

I always appreciate a New York Cafe with a minimal wait, quick service, and delicious food. Not to mention some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered while visiting the city. popped in for a late breakfast on the way to MOMA. service was a little brusque but was fair enough given how busy the place seemed. food itself was great - I had one of the best Belgian waffles I've had in my life although it was quite small, and my partner's apple turnover was fairly mid.
We loved our morning breakfast here, including an almond milk latte, espresso, coffee and orange juice. They even have gluten free bread which was the most unusual I've ever seen but quite tasty. I'm pretty sure it was the healthiest meal we had during our short stay in NYC.

Pain quotidian seems to be bucking the trend of increasing prices or reducing portions. I loved the smoked salmon tartine and, I believe, was a larger portion than I remember getting in past years. Good quality is still very good and service at this midtown location was excellent.
Perfect quintessential Manhattan coffee shop and cafe. Plenty of seating, wonderful atmosphere with great food and service.
