Review Tavern 29 - New York City

Nice place, good live music on the roof deck for a Monday night. It's was not busy, hence the atmosphere stars. I am sure it is great on a busy weekend. Looking forward to returning when it's busier.

Food was great and place is nice! The only thing I didn’t like and confused me was that we didn’t get a check before paying but the waitress came directly to charge us the total on the card… at the end she asked if we wanted a copy… but I don’t need a copy of the total paid if I can’t see each charge… that felt shady and I really hate it when they do it… we gave 15% tip and left with a strange feeling the place was overpriced when we went there for happy hour… while I do recommend the place, I advice you to ask for a full receipt before paying or you might be taken advantage of!

We went here for brunch. Their unlimited mimosa’s were the best. We forgot to take pictures of our food BUT all I can say is we loved it!!!! It’s a fun place. Highly recommend it.

Very nice brunch spot located in a convient part of the city. The food options were limited with a small menu, but the bottomless drinks more than made up for it. Staff was very nice.

I LOVE everything about the is place. From the decor, to the food. That calamari…wow! And it was fried so perfectly and it paired so well with their sweet chili sauce! The staff and service was good. Very friendly and efficient. We came in rather late one evening, so it had more of the after work crowd. I can’t wait to come back.

i really do appreciate the portion sizes here :) came here for brunch and lunch and have loved it!! i sweet potato fries are seriously sooooo coils and i think it’s definitely worth the extra charge. the egg wrap is also amazing for brunch. i feel like i got a bunch of bug bites sitting there (indoors) for a while though but that’s probably just a personal problem.

Good food, great quantities and open air seating is also available (with tons of indoor seating across 2 floors). I had the California chicken sandwich and it came with a side of fries and was pretty good and had great quantity. I had to take back half of my sandwich. The yuca fries were also pretty good. They also have a bar on the middle floor and have wine, beer and some cocktails.

Awesome spot for beers in a nice upscale sports bar setting. Tons of options!

Really nice place to stop for quick good food and drinks. Brunch option is great - unlimited mimosas for $25 any day of the week! The Mac and cheese starter is really really good.

This is a must try, amazing service, great food and strong drinks! New to the East Coast from Texas, couple of friends visiting from Mexico so I decided to take them to a true NYC style brunch, got on Google and reviewed every single bottomless brunch I was able to find and voila, not disappointed at all. Food was great, drinks were great, ambiance was great, service was beyond amazing (our server was the blonde-long haired guy behind the bar… not to mention handsome haha)

This place is great! Great ambience. Hosting an event here and we had the whole second floor! The food was really good and the service was excellent! I would definitely recommend! Thanks for making my event a success.

Good, not great, brunch spot that is worth visiting again when weather is good and the roof deck is open. Bottomless special was $25/person. Hangover pizza was a good non traditional breakfast option. Had reservations but could easily walk in.

I had the salmon and can honestly say it has been my favorite meal I've had in New York City. It seemed really random to go to a bar and get great food but I'm not complaining. The music was a bit loud though for seemingly no reason.

Amazing brunch - might even be the best brunch in NYC. Huge portions, and you can tell it’s high quality food. Sat outside on the roof in December…the roof was enclosed and heaters were on. Unlimited mimosas for $25, and they keep filling them up and giving you large bottles to refill yourself.
