First time going for lunch. Place gets packed very quickly so you have to make reservations. The waiting staff is unbelievable and the meal was great. It is a little pricy but you get A LOT of bang for your buck. Large plates, hefty meals and excellent quality. Will definitely come back.
I’ve always wanted to visit here and when I finally did, it was too late at night (10 PM). The bartender was welcoming and humorous. One of the better steakhouse chains in NYC, Bobby Van's, is always solid. While I've eaten at the Midtown West location more times, the original location at 230 Park has always been my favorite Bobby Van's. Today's visit did not disappoint!

Great steakhouse, all tables were full at dinner time. Both the food and service are impeccable. The staff are attentive and humorous, The rib steak is huge and tastes great. We were a party of 6 friends, delicious and nice dinner time.
My friend Dennis is the sweetest person in the world. He give great customer service and is very comedic. Let’s not forget that he’s an awesome bartender and easy on the eyes ! If you sit at the bar ask for Dennis tell him Megan sent you!!
One of the best meals I’ve had.
The others at the table had the steak but I chose the sea bass…and glad for it. Perfectly cooked.
