Excellent tasting menu. Dishes are bite-sized but the whole menu is generous and satisfying. The highlights were a perfectly cooked lobster, some venison with blood sausage, and a fried brioche with guanciale. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. The setting has clearly a neat, elegant, and minimalist touch, as expected from a Danish place.

The tasting menu is a eight course experiences starting with a series of snacks, transitioning from savory to sweets with a pre-desert and ending up with petite four. Overall chef’s tasting menu is very generous and has a focus on seafood, such as lobster, sea scallops and fish. Even tough both my friend and I enjoyed most of the dishes, but I wasn’t really impressed or anything really spot my taste bud. The break between each course sometimes stretched a bit longer. I did enjoy the bread and some seafood dishes, however, I don’t really feel the Nordic theme.

Honestly the highlight here was the service! Absolutely wonderful waitress, host, and servers. The other highlight might have been the barley bread with skyr butter they provide at the beginning. We also ordered the tuna tartare appetizer (pretty standard tuna tartare), and lobster porridge entree and skate wing entree. The skate wing had sea urchin with it so it was a little too salty/fishy tasting, but a good portion size and delicious otherwise. It wasn’t crowded at all on a Monday evening but we had made a reservation just in case. Not sure I will go back, the food was interesting and delicious and Icelandic, but pretty pricey for a la carte and didn’t blow me away. Good spot if you need a quieter restaurant where you can actually hear each other talk though.

Love this restaurant! The people here are so nice and the food is amazingly good. Also tried their Nordic bubbly drink, really tasty! Tip: try to sit on the counter, then you can see how the pastry chef prepare the bread and dessert!

This hidden gem in Grand Central serves up Michelin star quality Danish food. Novel, interesting, and delicious. Service was exquisite and unassuming. Food amazing. Go for the 3-course lunch prix fixe. You will not be disappointed.

I got the vegetarian tasting menu and my friend got the land & sea menu. We both got the beverage pairing along with our meals. The service as expected was impeccable and the aesthetics in the restaurant were beautifully done. We went on a Thursday night and expected it to be packed, given it's noma origins. Suprisingly, it wasn't. The vegetarian tasting menu was 125 and the land&sea was 135 without tax and tip. They did away from the included service fee. Just be aware, with beverage pairing, almost $600 after tip so it adds up. A nice spot for a special occasion but I don't know if I could come back here anytime soon. Unless I win the lottery 🤷🏽‍♀️

The food is EXCELLENT. Duck was perfectly cooked and incredible with the beets. Every course was executed incredibly well. They lost a star due to the service - we had a beverage pairing but they would send out the food and forget to give us the pairing more than once. Also, since its in grand central, you can feel the trains coming and going which is a bit distracting from the experience.

Definitely lived up to the hype and reputation re modern Scandinavian cuisine sourced fresh locally. Wines are focused on domestic with equal treatment of CA and OR! The wine advice was first rate and we discovered some new tastes re blend from CA. Note they worked with our party of 4 and were able to give us our own private tasting menu composed of some 9 separate dishes! BRAVO! Don’t forget to ask if any of the fixed menu is available a la carte (ie duck). Will definitely be back next time in town. Also, prices very reasonable re NYC and Michelin star rating.

Outstanding meal. My friend and i enjoyed every course. We had the multi course meal and all of it was beautiful and delicious. No big portions just perfect amounts of wonderful. This is or is tied for the best meal I have ever experienced. Bravo!

New lunch menu, prices dropped ( a bit), but from now on you are expected to add gratuity; Presentation was great and flawless. Interesting dishes with balanced flavor combinations. Liked the mackerel, loved the pork cheeks; However, the skate wing was too salty. Portion size? Well, don't come too hungry or you will have to order another main course...
