Incredible food, incredible service. The story of why they only take AMEX is really interesting piece of this restaurant. The food…. I’m dreaming of the little ravioli appetizer and the blue cheese pear. Everything was great. And the two servers were funny, kind and knowledgeable.
I had a nice birthday dinner here, the food is really good. The calamari is not fried so being very tender, it’s good for me but my boyfriend is not so used to it. The hanger stake is flavorful, perfect match with the steamed vegetables that served together with. The banana pudding is a must try as
Perfection in French cuisine from a true hole in the wall / neighborhood gem. Best seared Foie I’ve ever had, including in France! The deck was immaculate too, as was the baked goat cheese tart. Really everything was sublime!! Even the prices were quite reasonable for SoHo. The wine was so good to
5 stars for the steak and the amazing service A good restaurant for dinner with friends or partner. Recommend the onion soup and snails for appetizers IMPORTANT: only Cash or AMEX
What a great evening celebrating Mother’s Day. First, I have to thank the staff for their flexibility. We had a reservation but got delayed coming into the city; an accident on approaching the Holland Tunnel delayed us 2 hours, and as I kept calling the restaurant to apologize for our delay, they to
My friend and I came to La Sirène and overall had a good experience. I would say the only thing is this restaurant's deals were amazing and the food is awesome. I was blown away by its taste; the chicken and pasta were good, but the ricotta truffle toast was delicious. The desserts were too good.
Went here for an anniversary with my partner and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is very cozy and romantic, and the food was incredible. We had the escargot and goat cheese tart to start, and both were great, but the goat cheese tart was a standout. My partner ordered the rack of lamb, and I had To
Excellent French food! Everything was delicious. The French onion soup is definitely better than many places, and the hanger steak is superb! If you order the foie gras, get the seared version. Definitely will be back to try more dishes, especially the desserts.
Everything was so delicious at here!! Highly recommend Roasted Quail! Good for a casual French dinner with friends, family, and of course for couples! They accept only cash and Amex.
The atmosphere is so comfortable and cozy. The waiter and the waitress are very nice and friendly. The waiter informed us before sitting us that the restaurant only take American Express as the only credit card that they accept, and other form of payment, later on, I read the menu and it explained
Fabulous food and service. Every course was excellent, as was the wine the server helped us choose. The cheese tart appetizer was particularly good, and very generously portioned. The steak was perfectly cooked, as was the quail. I cannot remember the name of the dessert, but it was a perfect ending
Great ambience and some of the best food I have had in NYC. This place is a favorite not to be missed.
Came for Valentine’s Day and had a pre fixe menu with duck, escargot, oysters and dessert. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had at a restaurant, hands down. Not to mention how incredibly fabulous the staff was. So helpful and nice.
My husband took me here for my birthday and I loved it. We had mussels and escargots for appetizers. They were fresh and delicious. Although the escargot dish was a bit buttery for my taste, it was still really good with their service bread. My entree is duck with cranberry sauce and it’s one of th
One of the best French food I had in my neighborhood. Great steak tartar, wine selection and service. Waiter with the deep voice was a plus 👏 No Byob on Friday to Sunday.
Wonderful little spot for authentic French food. A literal hole in the wall, impeccably tended to by a charming staff. The (Caribbean) mussels, seared Foie Gras, cassoulet and seafood pasta were all delicious. Portion sizes are generous, so be prepared to share. Will certainly be back.
Great place with fresh & authentic French foods. The mood was perfect for a fabulous dinner, and service was fitted well with the mood. I’ve been searching for many French restaurants where I can taste real and authentic French foods, and La Sirène is a very rare place where you can taste authentic
The steak and lamb are awesome. Definitely will visit again.
