Viand Cafe - New York City - Photo album

I love the atmosphere of Viand with the crowd for brunch as it's a classic, bustling NYC diner. Expect a wait though on a Saturday and Sunday for brunch, it gets packed. It turns over pretty quickly though. They also have a counter in the back if you want to grab a spot and they have outdoor seating
We ate here 4 years ago when visiting NYC and loved it. Now, it's still a great place for any meal, and we've eaten here for all, including brunch. Tonight, we had dinner consisting of meatloaf, the turkey and quesadillas. Very large portions for not an astronomical price. The service is friendly,
Been here at least a dozen times now. The service is amazing and food is top quality. Highly recommend the Turkey sandwich and the Roast Turkey dinner. Breakfast items are also great but a little expensive compared to alternatives in the area
The Viand is a classic NYC Diner with Vintage Tables & Booths in excellent shape... a great Menu of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Small Plate assortments... a congenial & efficient Waitstaff... and it is right next-door to the Beacon Hotel where we usually stay on our periodic visits back to The City t
Great NYC diner fare with copious breakfast and brunch/ lunch options that can be ordered simultaneously during a.m.s. The tuna melt is a stand out at any time of the day. GREAT Fries! A sharply well-staffed operation with very friendly and attentive wait staff. Tables are expertly but gently turne
Enjoyed the waffle w/ strawberries & blueberries. The food is always fresh, the restaurant is clean and the selection is first rate. Oksana was our server and she is lovely and very efficient. The waitstaff is excellent.
Update— spoke to the owner. He apologized wholeheartedly and sincerely. That’s all I can ask. Mistakes happen and this is the way to handle them. We’ll be back. Original post: I often take my kid there for breakfast. The first few times we’ve gone they’ve been great— timely, responsive, and und
Great diner. Great service, good coffee, eggs Benedict and delicious freshly squeezed OJ. We had a wonderful waitress Oksana. Ate on the covered patio which was very warm unlike some patio in winter time in NYC
Spacious decent dinner. Not cheap like dinner but more like restaurant price big plate dinner food kinda place now. Always fast service, decent food (nothing will blow your mind), and convenient location if you’re around the neighborhood.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Really big portions. The panini could easily be shared by two. Chiken souvlaki was terrific (my fav) They have a large attractive outdoor terrace. Can't wait to go back.
Everything here is amazing. The food, the service, the quality. 10/10
My husband said we got anything we would expect from a diner: normal coffee, sandwiches, soups, entree, and pies. The blueberry pie we ordered was okay, but definitely was not what we expected for almost eight dollars. The Turkey sandwich was kind of plain, which was not what I expected from reading
Solid diner. Service was great. But it’s expensive! $20+ for basic diner sandwiches. Coffee and a Reuben cost $35 with tax and tip. Food was good and portions were generous, though. If you’re looking for a cheap bite, this isn’t it.
Quaint place with classic vibes and attentive staff. The chocolate chip cake was divine! Came after watching a show at The Beacon and Viand is one of the few places in the neighborhood that are open past 9pm. Really relaxing hour in the diner.
We had a good experience at Viand Cafe. We decided to keep it simple and go with an omelette, a side of eggs and a bagel. The omelette was well made and tasted really good. The side of eggs tasted fine. And finally, the bagel was fresh and toasted well. The service wasn’t great and it was a bit expe
