Came here with my friends for a spot of lunch before spending the afternoon at Central Park. Service was excellent, the breakfast menu was vast and I wish I was more local to have been able to try more of the menu! I had the Bacon Waffles which we're great, all the food going to other tables near us looked amazing too. Glad we found this little gem!
Cute little place with southern style food and super friendly staff. Bit of a line up on the weekend, but never had to wait long. Waffles were delicious & the strawberry butter made them even better. Forgot to take photos but we previously tried the scrambled eggs, apple pancakes & grits which were all delicious too. Highly recommend for brunch comfort food
Good spot for some southern style comfort food. Loved the scrambled eggs and sausage gravy. Also do try their biscuits with strawberry butter.
I had a very good and affordable brunch at Good Enough to Eat. My apple pancake was delicious and had a lot of sweet apple slices. My friends had the Belgian chocolate pancake which wasn't what they hoped for, they were quite heavy and too sweet. Service was good. Great place for kids.
Wanted a real American breakfast so sourced this place online . It was busy so that was a good sign. I got pancakes bacon and scrambled eggs even tried the maple syrup which isn't usually my thing . I ate it all !! Friendly service. I would go bsck but I would order something healthier ;)
In love with their strawberry butter and biscuits ❤️❤️ one of the best brunch place in nyc, should be in your mustgo list 👍🏼 The omlette that i eat is Little Italy which has mushroom, dried tomatoes and fresh mozzarella 👍🏼👍🏼
Fabulous for a Sunday brunch... Just be aware of how packed it usually is and the wait for a table. Once you are seated it's well worth the wait! Fresh, wholesome food... The menu is exhaustive and makes it tough to pick... A good problem to have :)
Great food at breakfast. It was pretty packed so the service time was a little long, but otherwise the staff were friendly. Not a bad little restaurant :)
Great honest food. We wandered past this in the morning and decided to give it a try later in the day for dinner.
We weren't disappointed. Kids loved theirs and my special Penne with shrimp and peas in a pink vodka sauce was yummy. Good service too.
Oh and nice pink lemonade!!!!
Best Breakfast in NYC. I went to NYC twice this year, and both times we had breakfast at GETE twice. It's worth the wait; the longest I've had to wait is 40 minutes. My favourite is biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs - I've never had better biscuits and gravy North or South of the Mason-Dixon line. Worth the wait, excellent service and amazing food - a repeat customer whenever I'm in town!
Cute breakfast/brunch spot with yummy food. Solid servings and pleasant staff. You won't leave hungry. The strawberry butter was a sassy surprise. Though the bacon is worth the price of admission. Check them out.
Popular diner with good food and service. We ordered the poached eggs and corned beef. I was happy to see that the corned beef was made in house and not from a can. Nothing tasted spectacular and nothing tasted bad.
The ambiance at this restaurant is truly inviting, with the music creating an ideal setting for positive energy to kick-start the day. The turkey sausages are a delight to the palate. All in all, a pleasing experience.
Oh but please beware of the coconut cake, it’s super sweet.
Some of the menu like burgers, sandwiches and salad starts from 11 am.
This place was always busy when I walked past so I wanted to give it a shot. When we got there, there was only outdoor seating which wasn't too bad. We went for brunch and I got the pancakes with bacon and eggs. The bacon was super thick, but so good. The pancakes were some of the fluffiest pancakes I've had. It also came with strawberry butter, which I've never had, but it was SO good and really added to the pancakes. We'll definitely be back!
Pancakes were delicious, and the bacon was the thick one. Great place for brunch and breakfast
I really liked this place.
Sat outside on a windy and blustery day. Had the Ruben and the home fries. I will rave about the fries. The Ruben was top nich but the fries put the meal over the edge. A pint of the blue point on top made an excellent lunch
Got the seasonal waffle with strawberries and almonds, the strawberry butter was exceptional! Waffle was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Service at the end/getting check was super slow but I never mind on the weekend
Very pleasant atmosphere. I had a quinoa salad, the best I’ve ever had. Very refreshing and a huge amount.
This was the first place I had pancakes in America! and guess what it was a memorable experience. We couldn't finish our portions and asked for the rest to be packed, quite some time passed while we were waiting for the parcel and the service tells us that they are making it from scratch because they mistakenly threw away the rest. We were getting late so we passed the offer, but thought it was a sweet gesture! We were even offered mimosas on the house on our next visit!!!
Amazing breakfast, with generous portions and reasonable prices. My wife and I, along with 2 friends, had brunch here and we really enjoyed our food. My wife and I split seasonal fruit pancakes (blueberry) and an omelette and both were fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or brunch!
