Service: Exceptional service! The staff were so attentive, asking us about any allergies we might have. Food: The food was delicious! We ordered: Steam Dumplings (tasty, but no crazy effect) Pad Thai: 10/10 Drunken Noodles: 10/10 Cocktails were also great! We went with OBAO and Thai Basil Gin & To
Cool vibe and busy place. Seated us right away and service was friendly and efficient. Food was great portions and tasted all good except the teenager did not like the fried rice 🍚. It was shared by the rest of the family and taken home to eat later. Good pho and got the meats. Other teenager said t
Spacious place, good food options. Got a mushroom steamed dumpling, it was very different, the filling was soft and nice. The kimchee fries were good. Drunken noodles were tasty, good quantity. Green chicken curry was average, good for 2 quantity. Crab fried rice, was simple, good crab meat and goo
Great Vietnamese restaurant! The service was incredibly fast and friendly. Solid atmosphere too. The food was high quality. We got the drunken noodle which was average. The chicken green curry was delicious, some of the best I’ve had in the city. The Vietnamese fried chicken wings with crispy garlic
Lovely spot to grab some good Vietnamese or Thai cuisine. Atmosphere was really good and this place always has a crowd so maybe try to reserve a table to avoid the wait. I really enjoyed the meals here. They give really hearty portion sizes and everything I had tasted delicious. I would definitely r
Had the beef pho with short rib (for $32 which meant the short rib was $16, since the beef pho was $16). The pho itself was nothing remarkable, but boy the short rib was fantastic, the melt-in-your-mouth kind. I don't typically opt for this much red meat, but I suppose it was good enough that I didn
As the host walk us up to the top floor of obao we got surprised with entire walls of mirrors which puts you right in the zone. Drunken noodles are so good with a beautiful aroma that spreads across tables. Both the spare ribs and short ribs are so tender and flavorful. Cocktails are thirst quenchi
I had a great dinner with my boyfriend here. Baitong, our server, was excellent and very attentive. He fixed our uneven table before we even noticed, and the food and drinks were delicious.
The experience was marred by the fact that the waitress had a cold - was coughing and sniffing - and should not have been serving. Thankfully another server took over after she brought our drinks. Overall great food and good atmosphere.
Omg. I felt like I walked into a restaurant that my family owned. They were so welcoming. Food was absolutely CRAZY! I’ve gotta come here every time I’m in NY! Thank you for such a great experience!
Pretty good thai and viet food for the area. Very lively atmosphere, so great place to bring friends or a small crowd. Good variety of types of dishes (dry noodles, soup noodles, rice dishes, etc) across viet and thai cuisines so you’re bound to find something you like there. Portions are perfect an
Food and drinks were well made. Great service. I do not appreciate seeing dirty dishes. On my way to the timing right now room they should have curtains, blocking, the go backs.
So delicious! We had a Christmas dinner at Obao and ordered Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. I’d say it was the best I’ve ever tried! Definitely worth it!
Such a great experience dining at the OBAO. After a short 15-min wait, we were seated at a corner table with a sofa seat. The hostness was considerate enough to provide us thay seating after she saw that our daughter had fallen asleep on her stroller. We were served by Han Ley. We got chicken and s
