Delicious. Absolutely delicious.
Me and my fiancee found this place for luck. In a rainy evening we come into the first pub to eat and get repair from the rain, and it was absolutely amazing.

Shepard's Pie was okay but the Bangers and Mash was surprisingly great. Owner seemed good natured and welcoming. Won't knock your socks off but great for a reasonably priced family restaurant.

We ordered all 5 of there specials. Shepherds pie, fish and chips, bangers and mash, chicken pot pie and beef stew. They were all great. Appetizers were standard bar food and I would not get. Potato leak soup was fantastic. Beer prices are not listed but drafts are $8. Dinner for 5 ran about $150

Good food, great service and atmosphere. The host (seemed like the owner) was very welcoming and funny. We felt like our presence and business were appreciated and noticed. Very reasonably priced, especially for NYC. Definitely will return if we make a trip back to the city.

Visited on 7/10/19 had the Fish N Chips @$18, Mug of Harp @$6 and finished off with Mississippi Mud pie (so good). The food is very good as is the service. Everyone here is friendly and they always steer you in the right directions when deciding which meal to order. The portions are big so you get value in Midtown which is very unusual.

Great service, tasty food and good atmosphere. We didn't hear about this place before, just went by it and decided to go in. The costumer service was remarkable since the beginning to the end. The food was great too, big dishes. We were 4, and took only 2 dishes which was more then enough. We'll definitely come back.
