Great service and great food. We had a tartar, pasta cacio e pepe and spaghetti which were incredible, Al dente and just like they should be. Desert of pannacota is magnificent.
Coffee is so so not very good cappuccino.
Love all of the Italian fare at Il Buco AV. The starters, pastas, pizzas, sides and mains are consistently solid under Chef Justin's helm. The shortribs are not to be missed! Loved the spicy olive pizza too.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a pre fixed menu. Everything was spot on. Clearly high quality ingredients, really nicely flavored, and a beautiful location. The pizza was amazing.
Update: they took pizza off the menu… plz bring it back!!!
Love this place, haven’t been here for at least 7 years and coming back was a great pleasure. It still has the same charm and food quality is great. Super nice staff. Pasta is out of this world. Love the entire Il Buco branding from their restaurants in the East Village region to their ceramics stores in Amangasset. This place has a great selection of Italian wines with a wide variety of charcuterie to accompany. I usually only come here for drinks so not too sure about their food. Celebrat
