Had family dinner there. While other places had a wait time of at least 30-40 minutes, we got our table right away! Food quality is high as well as the service. Sea bass is delicious as well as salmon rolls. Will definitely go there again!
Located in the posh Bryant Park Hotel, Koi is not unknown to me, having discovered that place in another location few years ago for Restaurant Week. One of the best restaurants in New York. Highly recommend the Northern Lights roll, spicy tuna crispy rice, salmon carpaccio and can't forget the koi sundae for dessert! Upscale, beautiful restaurant next to Bryant Park. Good service, too!

Great Food and ambiance. Had a very good meal with my wife. Enjoyed the dining room and service. The Sushi and rolls were outstanding with very attentive service. I would definitely go back.
Amazed. Great service, atmosphere and FANTASTIC dishes. All the sushi was fresh and tasty, and our dinners were great. You have to try the Krispy Rice with spicy salmon it's out of this world. Trust me its not overly spicy and my favorite over the yellowfin which is also good.
Good food, great service. Food came out at the same time as the appetizer though. A little spacing between courses would have been great.

Metrosexy Sushi. Very quickly: the food is decent. Fish is fresh, but not very imaginative on the sushi end of things. Try the passion fruit-mint lemonade. Definitely try the roasted shishito peppers, they are fantastic. Don't be in a rush, service is slow. Sit near the window and glimpse Bryant Park, while you enjoy the interior scenery.

It was a great experience. The place is definitely popular so I would definitely recommend a reservation. The only problem we had is that some how our reservation got lost. However, the manager came over and assured us that we would be taken care of. We had the next table available and she sent us complimentary edamame.
The food was all DELICIOUS. It is all ‘family style’ sushi so it’s great to get a bunch of things so that you can share. We were able to try a variety of different dishes and all give our opinions. It was so good I wanted to keep eating but it definitely is a little pricier than what I normally pay for sushi so I restrained.
Our server was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. Attended to us all night and the people helping him were also really nice too. Drinks took slightly longer than I would have liked but they were all hand made and delicious so it was easy to look past that. The bathroom is a little bit of a walk but it’s fine. I highly, highly recommend. It is a little bit pricey but definitely worth the money.
Delicious food, and great atmosphere! Very fast service. Double Tuna and Northern Lights roll sushi was absolutely incredible, cocktails were great too. Would recommend!
Beautiful restaurant! The food and drinks here are delicious! I would suggest getting a little bit of everything! Just make sure when you go there to have enough spare time because they do tend to get very busy.
This place is awesome. I felt that I am in Asia continent. I ordered 🌮 lobster 🦞 Taco was very delicious. Then I ordered sunfire sushi 🍱, it is well done and very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for Asian food. The food was light and healthy, I will come here again and again.
Delicious food, warm & friendly service, GORGEOUS interior design! They have some very interesting areas to explore and it's at least 3 stories. I had the dragon roll which was had fine crunch and was filling. I wish the eel sauce was sweeter but I still enjoyed it. I also had that appetizer with the peppers which was great!
Ask for Gabriel (sp). She knows the menu and Sake inside and out. We had the most delicious bottle of cold sake I have ever enjoyed - Daiginjo- Dassai 45. The creamy shrimp tempura is a must!! Also loved the dragon roll and kobe pot stickers!! I will be back for sure!
Had some dinner at this sushi spot with my friends. Our waitresses were super kind and seated us. The interior definitely sets the mood. We ordered salmon roll, california roll, a grilled salmon, and a sushi taco. more on the pricier side but the food was good! Used my camera to take these photos!!
This place is so phenomenal. I loved the decorations inside and I was lucky enough to get my entire group into a booth seating that overlooked the view of the park and had access to the bar as well. The waitress was really attentive but I could tell that she was really busy and the entire place was really popping for the whole night. I think the decorations are really what made it but the food was really good and I highly recommend the blue crab California roll. The dessert was phenomenal as well as we got the chocolate lava cake and the mochi ice cream but the mochi ice cream could’ve been from Trader Joe’s or some thing so next time I go I’ll try a different kind of homemade dessert. Overall I had such a good time and it was a great location and all of my group members had a blast.

I’ve come here consistently for years and have taken friends and colleagues here. This is a great place for dinner, should it be corporate dinner or an intimate one. Great interior, good service, and amazing food and drinks. Crunchy rice is a must but all other food options are really good too. The only thing I do not super like, which might be a personal preference, is the mushroom dumplings which tastes like ravioli but I guess a bit weird for a Japanese restaurant- again, personal preference. Lychee martini is very good if you like a sweet cocktail.
