Friedman's Lunch - New York City - Photo album

Nice restaurant in the center of the market. The service ladies are very nice and the dishes are very tasty. We ate chicken and salad. The portions are smaller than in other restaurants in NYC and the prices are quite high (one star less). Nevertheless, we recommend it if you are in this area.
Ordered Chicken Chilaquiles with egg and salsa verde. They were spicy, flavorful and good! Our waitress was fantastic. It is a nice place inside the rush of Chelsea Market but a few feet away from people walking making the atmosphere perfect for enjoyment and relax your feet.
Great spot for breakfast and brunch. Food is always consistent at any of their locations. Staff is very nice and friendly. Turn over is pretty fast for a table.
Really great food - try the burger with bacon jam! Everything can be had in a gluten-free version. Our 8-yr-old was so happy to get pancakes - and our phantastic waitress knew exactly, what is important for kids: Do you want the jam on the side? Both flavors? The chocolate sprinkle IN the dough or o
Came in during happy hour. I’m a celiac and so was excited finally try this place out. I absolutely LOVED it. I came in with no reservation and sat the bar. I ordered the potstickers and chicken and waffles. I had an apple cider Bellini & mango drink as well. My selections were divine. I wanted to s
Great sandwich place with gluten free options. Super helpful staff accommodating food allergies. Wish they open a restaurant in Seattle, WA.
Second location of Friedman's during our NYC trip. This was located in the Chelsea Market - fantastic gluten free options (same menu as other location)...this time we had lunch. Highly recommend!
If you like good black coffee in big mugs, w/ free refills… grab an early seat enjoy breakfast and sip away. The Nova Benny was so flavorful & the perfect amount of food. The pancakes were super fluffy and you can choose your topping of strawberries, blueberries, or chocolate chips :-) we arrived ri
If you’re a cheese lover you should definitely try this sandwich. If not, you will find something suitable for your taste. The staff is nice and friendly and they are fast even if there are a lot of people waiting in queue. The fries are perfect! Love it
Decided to have lunch here while shopping in Chelsea Market. I wanted a nice salad and the Cobb salad sounded so good on the menu. As you can see from the picture…it did not disappoint. My Chai latte was really good as well. Great service and good portions made for a nice filling lunch.
Friedman's was perfect for brunch! The food was fantastic, the coffee solid, and the service was amazing. We got there right at the right time, around 11:00, and got seated immediately. It started getting very busy, but we never felt rushed, nor did the quality of service change. If we are ever back
Great food especially if you’re looking for gluten free meals. The chicken tacos with avocados was splendid, fresh and delicious. The waffle with fried chicken was also nice, with two different sauce. Great service too. Overall, it’s satisfying.
Lovely place situated in the heart of Chelsea market. The staff in particular were great, super attentive and happy to help and answer any questions. Gluten free options are great as well.
Good food, good portions, friendly service and caters to Gluten Free! Fries are gluten free, dedicated fryer and the server knew it without question! Daughter with celiacs had no issue and was able to get grilled chicken and fries. She could’ve made it a sandwich with a gluten free bun but her ch
This is the first restaurant we’ve found that is gluten free by default. We loved it! The service was impeccable. The food quality was superb. Ask for a pat or two of butter if you order the pancakes.
