I walked past this on accident and did a double-take. Had no idea there was a Venchi in NY! Tried this gelato in Italy a few years ago (2019) and loved it, but none in Florida. Tastes just as good here, if not better because I was not expecting it. Highly recommend the Stracciatella flavor (my favorite) and the Brutto & Buono (chocolate with hazelnut). Mango was also super refreshing. There is also a little bit of inside and outside seating. Finding this was such a nice surprise!

This place is popular, usually there is a long line! Staff do a great job managing and ensuring line moves along. Johany served us and she was truly exceptional. She was very patient as we sampled flavors and offered us suggestions based on what we liked. Usually I would feel rushed to make a decision but she made sure I was satisfied with the flavors I chose. 5/5 service Johany should be praised/acknowledged for her exceptional customer service. Only reason I'm giving this place overall a 4/5 is because of the flavors. Don't get me wrong its quality ice cream but flavors can be improved. The chocolate was too bitter. One of the pistachio flavors tasted over roasted. We ended up getting Piedmont hazelnut which was mild in sweetness, had subtle hazelnut flavor was smooth and good enough for our liking. I will definitely come back if flavors can be changed/improved.

High quality gelato, sorbetto, crepes and chocolate. The gelato comes in a cup or cone with options for add-ons either way. The “baby” cup was quite enough for me - a big generous scoop for sure. Flavors were very limited on the Monday we visited, but the basics were all there. Sorbetto is dairy-free and the typical classic flavors like mango and strawberry. We picked up a small bag of chocolate to bring home. I suspect the chocolate is very good as we got chocolate coins to sample on top of our gelatos and they were excellent. I will return here to pick up hostess/teacher/book club gifts as the chocolate boxes are charmingly packaged. I hope they have more flavors next time - no raspberry today - and I’d like to try the custard crème another time. Cute seating in the window, but sparse!
