Anejo - New York City - Photo album

Wonderful little spot with affordable delicious small plates during happy hour. When you walk in there is a nice bar and small tables for people to sit. They have a small outdoor patio area that they open on nice days. We came as a party of 2 and got the shredded chicken nachos, the guacamole and t
The waitress was really pleasant and accommodating, and the service was quite nice. She gave us a thorough breakdown of the menu and gave us her recommendations. I have to admit that all of her recommendations for food, beverages, and overall quality were well received. The food was also perfectly s
Delicious food and drinks and great service! Our party of 7 didn’t have reservations, but they quickly seated us in the cute heated “shed” in front of the restaurant. It was perfect! Really good authentic Mexican that you can tell took time to prepare!
We absolutely loved the food here. Everything was so fresh, spicy, & delicious! Theu have the best happy hour food menu and drinks. I highly recommend the blanco margarita, chicken empanada, el pastor tacos, short rib nachos, & the guac. Server was really sweet. Only issue was space. We were crammed
I love this place! The food was so excellent. Pictured are my corn dumplings. I got the sauce on the side as I wasn't sure I would like the kick to it but the sauce absolutely made the dish and you must get that if you are to eat that dish.
Went there one of Thursdays for lunch, was empty that was cool. The service was very fast. Guacamole was delicious and big portion. Burrito was very good. Also quesadilla was good, but a bit too much fried for me. I don’t know the correct way, and I don’t claim that I know how it is supposed to be d
One of my favorite places to grab a pre-theater sit down meal. The drinks are solid. The food is delicious. The service is attentive. I especially love the flan - easily the best I've ever had. That cotija cheese on top is perfection. Even my usual travel friend, who doesn't like flan, liked this on
Fun spot. We had a reservation and it was busy but felt like we might have been lucky without one. The shrimp tacos were delicious…, very lightly battered and three plump ones in each taco. Chips and guacamole were essential eating and the pitchers of margaritas (plural) went down very well.
The food 10/10; service 10/10 (note there is a slightly long wait to get the food but the food is SO GREAT, it makes the wait worth it!) ; atmosphere 10/10. The tacos were to die for, the octopus ceviche feels like o*gasm in mouth. 🫢MUST TRY!
Sat at the bar. Service was fast. Guacamole was amazing! Margaritas were great, except a bit pricey considering amount of ice in the glass. Tacos were tasty! Would return but wouldn’t order a margarita again.
Great food, service and ambiance. Small, dark and cozy. Julianne was awesome. Very popular place - dead-full on a Tuesday mid-November night at 7:00 PM. Wait folks made awesome recommendations for really creative and tasty shared plates, and the margaritas were awesome. Recommend you try the J
Small, but so so good. Delicious food, prepared quickly and with care. Outstanding service, from the host stand through to the bussers. Great cocktail. Also, Brunch was delicious, so if you find yourself here on the weekend, don't think you have to wait til dark to enjoy the place. 5 star!
Visited on Thursday on last night before return to UK - so glad we did. Evening atmosphere was brilliant, service was the best we had in NY and the food was absolutely delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend this friendly restaurant.
Found it from the Michelin app and it did not disappoint.. really up there with our fav mexican in NY! Super no frills vibe but the food was insane! Cant wait to come back and bring friends!
I love Anejo. Extremely friendly staff, wonderful tequila bar, and great food! Their happy hour is fantastic - I highly recommend it! It’s a staple in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood and I always look forward to returning.
I really loved the food at this place. The guacamole and chips were outstanding and their jalapeno margaritas too. Would definitely visit them again.
Atmosphere was great, staff was very attentive, and the food was great. The food looked and smelled amazing. Everyone had a great experience!. My only complaint is that cilantro is incorporated in most things (already prepared sauces etc.) which is 100% understandable. But when I asked for no cilan
Amazing Yuka fries, a must and big portion. We also ordered the beef tacos with the soup which was so tasty and samosas which were crispy in the outside and fluffy in the inside. We sat outside on a rainy day but not too cold. I wish we had enough space for churros!
The food is wonderful...... but the drinks SUCK big time. The margaritas were like lemonade with a splash of tequila. The soda was as flat as my a**...... I just stayed with the water. I had the Birria Tacos, Yucca frita, and Shrimp empanadas. Super delicious...... my friends had the churrasco.....
