Walid is such an exceptional host here who makes you feel like family as soon you walk through the door. The food is incredible and really authentic. This business is 35 years old and the elevated taste and experience is really unmatched! We will definitely be back 🤗

Even though Ariana is small, don’t let that deter you from coming in to a wonderful and homey atmosphere. The owner is so lovely and full of energy, and the food is AMAZING. I’ve been there twice now and I have left extremely satisfied both times.
The kabuli palow with any of the koftas is deliciou
Love this place, food is great like always! we got the lamb shank Kabuli and the manti and they are just perfect. the meat is melting and the rice is full of flavor, so tasty!

Cute Afghani restaurant in Midtown. Loved their kabuli pulao/rice with lamb kababs. Yoghurt drink is delicious too. Owner was very nice and offered us Afghani bread with yoghurt dip. Keep cash as their card machine does not always work. They will send you to ATM so be prepared.
Very authentic feel and taste. I would definitely come back. Non alcoholic drinks (happy tea, Dough)were unique and tasty. Potato curry was good especially with the added hot sauce. Long grain rice seems to be the base for all the plates and it very tasty on its own.
I haven't ever been to a place n ate food like there ever. Let me tell u this the service n the manager is a delight n there food is absolutely amazing. They cook healthy n not too many spices it's just right. I would love to go back asap. It's my favorite restaurant by far no joke.
It was my first time trying afghan food and everything was delicious! Our server (maybe the owner) was very welcoming and friendly. Interior was tight but cozy and hot tea after the meal was nice before heading out into the cold.
This place is amazing. I have never been here before and didn’t know what to get, but the guy took care of me. He asked me if I like chicken, beef, or lamb. I told him chicken, and then he said he got me. Later on, I got an amazing chicken dish, and I loved it. I don’t even know what’s it’s called.
My go to take out spot for Afghan / kabobs. I've never had a bad meal here. I even got my parents hooked on this place, as they frequently request we order from here! Highly recommend this spot to anyone for fantastic food.

I was pleasantly surprised to really love every dish that we ordered here! The waiter was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and welcoming. Highly recommend the beef sambosas, Badenjan Buranee, Kabuli Palow with Tandoori Chicken, and firnee for dessert!

I'm a lover of Afghan food and Ariana may be one of the best Afghan restaurants I have ever had.
It is not a particularly large space, however the owners make great use of the space and you do not feel squished or crammed in nor do you feel uncomfortably close to your fellow patrons.
