What an amazing experience! TAO has been by far a top 5 fine dining experience for me. It felt like I was heading into a secret underground restaurant where only the rich and famous were allowed to dine. Everything from the food, service, and ambiance was exceptional. I've never tasted such exquisite food in my life. Still dreaming about the entire night at TAO.

This is a place in its own category. A mix of club and restaurant, with dishes that are beautifully decorated and taste just as good.
Also, I expected it to be more expensive.
The highlight was definitely the dessert plate, with the huge fortune cookie filled with mousse au chocolat!

As soon as I walked in, the place, atmosphere and service was quality. They recommended 4-6 dishes including appetisers for two including appetisers. We had 7 and I was shocked to see that the bill was still very fairly priced.
Every dish we had was incredible, best meal so far in New York.
Orange chicken
Edamame beans
Wagyu beef yakitori
Chicken gyozas
Jasmine rice
Tuna tartare
Five spice short ribs
For me, the orange chicken, ribs and gyozas stole the show.

The ambiance of this restaurant is Def unique & and set the tome for a fun night, unlike NYC. I
t was a really nice dinning experience. I am looking forward to go back again.. I really enjoyed the salmon and the lobster fried rice
Everything is stunning I did love the environment and how helpful was everyone. The appetizers and the tuna, I had for the main were okay but the dessert wasn’t. There was a strange flavor I think the plantain wasn’t clean enough. Everything was good until I tasted the dessert that changed my opinion about the place.
Had the tao-tini and a Long Island which were the right balance of sweet and strong
Moved on to starters. Had the chicken satay which was well seasoned and perfectly charred.
For mains had the triple pork fried rice and Mongolian beef. The rice was alright and could’ve used a bit more seasoning but the well seasoned (and almost a bit too salty) Mongolian beef sauce helped balance the flavors..
The ambience is the show stopper, personally. It’s very beautiful and picturesque. Our waitress was on she could have been better but not going to really complain. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried everything on the menu. So rich in flavors

Had a pretty seamless experience here. Made a reservation, arrived on time, and was seated pretty quickly. Didn’t like the original spot they had and they were nice enough to find a different table.

For dessert, had the chai crème brûlée which was really good!
The ambience was nice, the music was appropriate and not too loud, and our server was friendly and attentive.
Overall a good experience.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is beautiful and I really enjoyed the food we got. The crispy bao buns were my favorite! Service was great :)

I went for my birthday with family. The food is great and they have enough selections for vegetarians. The drinks were excellent. The atmosphere is great, they have some Instagram spots, even though the lighting could be better. Saw many tables using their phone to flash the light onto menu so that they can see. I would still recommend to try this place at least once.

If you want to have a good time and want to feel like you’re partying, this is the place to go. However, the food was just okay. The tempura roll was probably the best thing I had there. The rice was bland. Dumplings were okay.
The music was great but it was really loud. It was very hard to have a conversation with someone sitting across from you. Service was okay but my server kept forgetting what I had ordered.

Unique and cool interior decor. Lobster kimchi fried rice was not bad, big serving. Otherwise mostly tasted slightly sweeter than spicy. Nevertheless still enjoy the beautiful ambience. @live2njoy

Taos dining room is amazing. It really has great ambiance and aesthetics. If possible I definitely recommend a seat on the stairs, greats views. The service was great, are waiter was nice and attentive. The food was great. For my appetizer I had the delicious dumpling platter. Then for my entree I had the Hong Kong noodles which were full of flavor. Definitely recommend for dates or intimate birthday dinners.
