Nirvana - New York City - Photo album

Upstairs buffet restaurant and a bar downstairs. The lunch price is decent for a good amount of different tasty Indian food. A few dishes like the chicken really stood out while the rest kind of ran together. It was a good meal and the environment was clean and good for conversation.
Great lunch special and all you can eat Indian buffet. I refilled my plate twice and was completely stuffed. I think the buffet was $15, which is great considering everything that is included. They even bring out fresh naan to the table. @traveleen_gurl
I have only enjoyed the lunch buffet here but hope to come back and try some of their dinner menu soon. The place stood out for it's stellar service, ambiance and food quality. I have a nut allergy and the staff was kind enough to walk me through the nut-free free dishes and make sure that I was ple
My First dinner experience in Manhattan. Looked around for vegetarian options and this place was courteous enough to offer me a customized menu to decorate my taste buds. The hotel is very near to Grand Central and you could go by walk!
I had the buffet here and it was fantastic. My puppy dog and I travel all around the country. Love to stop in and sample everyone's Indian food. This is in the top 3 for me around the country. The selection of food was huge. Extremely tasty. Reasonably priced. And what can I say about the staff they
Absolutely love this place. George at the bar is amazing. Wine and beer list are great. Food is the best. Chicken 65 is perfect!!
This place was revelation. I usually goto Junoon or Tulsi but Nirvana turned out to be almost as good. The lunch buffet was extensive. It had all the usual Indian fare. Samosa chaat was just as good as I have had in India. Firni was as good as the one my friend's mom force fed me on Eid.
First time ever eating lamb chops. Have to agree that it was good. Lamb was very tender. It was very nice experience. A little pricey, but definitely worth it.
Best Indian food I’ve ever had!!!! Got the classic chicken masala with plain naan, samosas, and salad. Great service and reasonably priced! Make this spot a must for Indian.
Amazing Place to visit and have a peaceful dinner. Unlike other Indian Restaurants where they play Indian Music, they have a very pleasant music with a touch of Amazing food. The staff is very friendly and the taste of food is amazing and according to the needs. A nice and Fancy place to visit. Pric
It feels unfair that we have come here so many years for the lunch buffet and I not leave a review. Nirvana is the place where me and my posse of friends from work have ordered lunch buffet for years, usually a Friday, stagger back to work to finish the afternoon, and have never been disappointed. F
Great Indian Food! I eat here often when I can afford it. The music is nice, the atmosphere is classy, the buffet is always pleasing and the service is accommodating and mannerable. I am never disappointed for lunch or dinner. They also have a take out option.
By far the best Indian food. Very nice atmosphere. Excellent location. Hope to make it back to NYC soon. It is a required stop.
Food is really good and service is great. I think you're dish dependent on 4 or 5 stars which is why I landed on a 4. I've always enjoyed my food on multiple visits, but some diahes are just better than others. Overall ambiance is nice, relaxed and comfortable. Everytime we've been there the food
Absolutely love the buffet lunch on weekdays. A very wide spread for approx $16, even as a vegetarian. Great for team outings or one-on-ones. I also often take-out their approx $10 lunch where you choose from a set of fixed options.
We held my baby shower in Dec 2017 and we are very satisfied with their service and food. All our guest loved the food and the ambience. Anil was very kind and supportive to our every request. Will recommend this place for any kind of parties.
