This is a great American breakfast spot. Worth the wait for sure. Amazing service, they are very nice and friendly. Food was great, exactly what I was looking for. Felt like home. Prices are very affordable. Love the split charred sausage. This is the breakfast spot you are looking for.
The atmosphere is awesome if you love old school no fuss type diners! It's like going back in time, in a good way! The food is for real, homemade and delicious 😋 Went twice in the same week for breakfast. Get the pancakes! Go early or be prepared to stand outside and wait. Don't worry, it moves qui
Proper old school diner in the Chelsea / Flower District area. This place is small with a counter and only a couple small tables so there might be a wait when you arrive. Typical diner food available for breakfast. All made fresh at order and done really well. Just FYI There is no free refills for
Loved this place! Delicious blueberry pancakes, friendly service, and well priced. We were here quite early and got a table immediately. The food also arrived very fast. The pancakes were really good, the portions are very large. The vibe is great and feels very authentic.
Such a cute diner. Apparently it’s been here for more than 30 years! I had kingkong and it was a lot of food but really good. My son had pancakes and they were so good, too.
I've had the best pancakes ever in this place. It is a very small place...2 tables and some chairs at the bar, so sometimes you might have to wait to get in, but it is worth it.
Classic American luncheonette, super friendly staff. Food was ready pretty quick and met expectations. Would recommend for a quick lunch.
So yum! Johnnys had the fluffiest pancakes and great service from Josh. Even with the rain storming down, a group of us waited outside to be seated. There’s a 4 top, 2 top and counter but that’s it for seating so expect a wait on the weekends. And enjoy!
Awesome food. Awesome customer service. Great atmosphere. The owner was super nice, first time there and will definitely be back when in town.
Johny's is a find and prob the best place in the area for breakfast or lunch (unfortunately not open for dinner). The food here is always on point with the best breakfast in the city and reasonably priced too. It can get a little hectic in there and sometimes long lines on the weekend, but totally w
First time visiting this place while on vacation, and it was a spectacular experience. It's a diner with great service (shout out to Josh for being super helpful), and food was amazing! Then we went there again the next morning, and Josh remembered our order from the previous visit! If you're in the
Best place in New York for grabbing a breakfast in an old-fashion diner way. You must try it at least once. It has the traditional american dishes, but also healther ones. It is not very big so it gets packed quite fast, you might need to wait outside for a free table, but it's definitely worth it.
An International Foodie Pal suggested hitting this spot before I left NYC. I had a Salami and Extra Fried Egg Bagel with Lettuce, Tomato, and American Cheese. A meal comes with coffee or tea and there is a slight upcharge for iced coffee. They have Splenda or sugar for sweeteners and offer milk or
One of the best breakfast spots in around 20km circle. Johny‘s has wonderful breakfast items, amazing stuff and a fair and good price for all. We came twice during our 1 week stay! 🙌🏻😍
I've had pancakes at this place two days in a row now and omg they're amazing. The Nutella pancakes seem to be a new addition and they're soooo good! The pancakes are super fluffy and they put just the perfect amount of Nutella on it. I devoured them!
This was our favorite breakfast place in New York. It was near our hotel, so it was convenient, but we came back two more times because of many reasons: location, speed of service despite being tiny, the service, the price and the pancakes! Pancakes were delicious. Honestly, pancakes taste much bett
My husband and I were visiting the city to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. On the day we were to head home, we found this spot on google and decided to walk in the rain, hop on a subway, and wait in the rain some more to try it. I'm so glad we did. First off, it's such a charming place...
I have never been to a diner that I wanted to eat at everyday. We did just that! The food was amazing; cooked right in front of you. We received NY style customer service, and once we got used to that, everything was awesome. I highly recommend stopping by for a bite but keep in mind, they close at
Tourists from Florida stumbled into Johnny's and we were so glad. Small diner with fabulous breakfast at reasonable price and free coffee refills. People waited outside in the rain just to get a stool at the counter. A take out window did brisk business. Highly recommend this gem.
