Review Quantum Leap Natural Food - New York City

The kale pineapple smoothie was delicious. A little tart and sweet. Very filling. Also highly recommend the vegan summer rolls. Their peanut sauce that goes with the summer rolls was savory and sweet. They have a HUGE menu of selections. And the although the restaurant was kind of small, the decor was very cute.

This place is a must for vegetarians! The food was great, the service was really really good. The staff is so attentive and you can't beat the $5 house wines šŸ˜‰ All in all, we had great experience and will be back!

Delicious food for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians! So many options to pick from and everything was so tasty. Staff is really efficient and friendly.

I canā€™t believe itā€™s vegan! They have so many options itā€™s unbelievable. I had their buffalo wings which was alright- the sauce itself was a bit too tangy for my liking and the density of the soy was a bit tough. Iā€™ve had better from other vegan spots. The chicken nuggets were out of this world- was cooked perfectly, crispy and tender. It was so good I ordered 2 more to go. I had the mock chicken quesadilla which was delicious- very generous portions. The vegetables inside were fresh, seasoned well, and very flavorful. Good recommendation by the waiter. Also ordered a house fruit drink which tasted very good...a bit on the sweet side but I liked it

A literal gem of a place. Never have I had such an amazing portion of food, that is top notch quality and taste. While being super affordable. New favorite lunch/dinner spot anytime that I am in the city. I can not recommend enough. Please go here and try everything. The staff is friendly and inviting, the food and shakes are immaculate. 100/10

This was one of the best burgers Iā€™ve ever had!! And Iā€™ve had a lot of vegan burgers in my time. I got the pineapple beet burger, and it was the perfect blend of savory and sweet. Iā€™m also obsessed with condiments but didnā€™t need any ketchup for this burgerā€”better to let the burgerā€™s flavors and the purple slaw they put on it to shine. Extremely satisfying and the fries that came along were really yummy as well :) go go go go go even if youā€™re not a vegan because even my non vegan friend who pretty much loves meat and hates vegan imitations loved this place.

A nice and cheapish vegan restaurant in Greenwich village. Great for lunch and dinner with friendly staff. Pro tip: get the peanut butter chocolate veganmilk shake. It's great!

Very nice vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. Service was great. Food was excellent, I scraped the plate. Menu selections are varied and well excecuted. I will definitely be back.

Quantum Leap is a nice, cozy restaurant for a vegan or vegetarian meal. I ordered the beet burger and really enjoyed it! However, it is not a place to go to in a hurry as the service is a little slow. But overall very good experience and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Come vegans! Come vegetarians! Come pescatarians! Youā€™ve found a home here at Quantam Leap!! This intimate restaurant nestled in the heart of the Village - steps away from Washington Square - is a rare find. Good old fashioned no-pretense ambience - friendly service - and a menu to suit all tastes!

MealPal cobb salad. Wish it had more "chicken", but good for what it was. I also went a few times with my sister years ago, service and food were both good! Not a vegetarian or vegan by the way, if that counts for anything.

Food was full of flavor, the portion sizes are good and the prices are definitely worth it!

I walk in a take a table for one. Facing the window I indulge in looking at people passing by deliberately. Sun beams and old songs make me unwind. My lunch is soba noodles and stir fried veggies topped with vegan dumplings. I'll definitely come back again to have a vegan burger. Oh, and dessert, of course. They bake their desserts. I'm happy to know this place.

Great place for a vegan or vegetarian lunch or dinner. We went here for dinner and had vegan burgers. Friendly staff and nice place. Highly recommend the berry lemonade.

Amazing food for vegans, highly recommend the pineapple upside down pancakes or the impossible burger with French toast. Great stuff

Love this place! Myself and my bf are big meat eaters but absolutely love this vegetarian restaurant. They have a very large and varied selection of all different cuisines with a vegetarian twist. My go to is the Vegetarian Meatballs Sub but all the burgers are excellent. They also have a great brunch menu and you cant beat a $5 house wine! ProTip: Order the garlic fries!

I was absolutely astonished by this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was so nice!
Alexandra, our server, answered all our questions with great patience (we get confused by vegan options), went to the chef with a few queries and really let us take our time. She made the experience kind and warm.
We ordered the spring rolls which were crispy yet hot. We ordered the blueberry pancakes which had actual blueberries in the batter and no jam. This was vegan and tasted even better than most non vegan options! We also had a sweet potato soup which was also very good.
Really enjoyed our experience!

Service with a smile, huge quantity per dish, fresh exotic fruits desserts, small and cute restaurant, not too costly, will visit again, soon. :)

As New York "virgins" we found ourselves paying top dollar for our food more often than not, especially as we had to find places that cater for a vegetarian with a wheat allergy.

Quantim Leap delivered in spades! Sensible sized portions, with sensible prices, all served by the friendliest restaurant staff we encountered in New York. So good was dinner on Wednesday that we went back for a late lunch on Thursday. If you need vegetarian/vegan/gluten free food, do NOT pas this place by

Went in here this weekend to have lunch with a colleague of mine. I would recommend this for a great vegetarian meal; they are pretty famous for that. They serve excellent fish too. We had a Veggie Burger and Salmon Platter, and we rejoiced every bite of it.Ā

The ambience reminds you of a homely environment, which feels incredibly refreshing. The service was also very prompt and courteous, one of the best I've had in the west village.

I've had many takeouts here, this was, however, my first meal in the house and I was pretty happy about my experience.

Would come back pretty soon.

Quantam Leap is an awesome place for a Vegetarian in NYC. It's not overly "health inclined" like most other vegetarian places, but I love that. It's just an American restaurant that's completely vegetarian. What I love the most is the wide use of meat substitutes. Good service too!

I remember the first time here like yesterday, it started with three of us to a mighty 7 or 8 people finally going there. Cramming up on a tiny table, just because itā€™s fun with friends :). Some of what we ate today. Vegetarian wings with blue cheese ā€“ OK. Vegan satay ā€“ good. One of their vegetarian burgers ā€“ good

Had the nachos as starter and a veggie burger as a main. Not that good food...the service was average. I think this restaurant had its days... Will not repeat, would not recommend!

Good salmon. They had a salmon special, reasonably priced and decent portion. Was a good portion, salmon was moist and came with a yummy garlic teriyaki sauce. I was quite happy.

Awesome veggie burger & multi-grain pancakes. Quantum Leap is a great place if you're a vegetarian - or an omnivore with a vegetarian significant other. The food is good and there are tons of choices. The service is quick and we've never had to wait for a table, even during weekend brunch.

The pancakes are really delicious. I prefer the multi-grain. The side of vegetarian sausage is a nice touch, and the price is right for this type of food and the quantity. The veggie burger is also delicious - the fake bacon is a nice touch. Even my boyfriend, a (beef) burger connoisseur, loved this veggie burger. Perhaps the pickiest of meat-eaters wouldn't find something on the menu to please them, but I think most would be surprised to find fake meat prepared so well.

Quantum Leap is a great spot. If you're not a vegetarian, I wouldn't jump on the next train to get there. If you are a vegetarian, I'd definitely check it out soon.

I'm a sucker for their dumplings and soba lunch special!!

Good food and weird service.. Had some really nice food and wine in this place but the service was weird. Not unfriendly, not bad, it just didn't exists. We kept asking ourselves if we didn't get the concept; but there was someone taking our orders and bringing the food... they just did not communicate. After finishing our mains we sat there for 20 minutes with 3 members of staff staring at us and chatting to each other but no one asked if we wanted desserts or the bill. It wasn't busy at all so we didn't get this - how do they make money as a business if they don't want to sell their food.
Well, despite this weird experience the food was really delicious! However we would not return but maybe they just had a bad day or the wrong staff running the place that evening.

Great Vegetarian/Seafood Fare. Not a vegetarian, but I'd often go in to get a good plate of food for a decent price. I remember getting the fish specials a few times, and always enjoyed them.

Really delicious, sophisticated veg food at very low prices. Lots of seitan options, a juicer, and quite a large menu. Really liked the tamales plate for brunch and the macro plate for brunch. Satay skewers in a spicy curry sauce are delicious and meaty.

Best Place Ever. Period.. Regardless what you are into, this is mine and my boyfriends favorite restaurant. Not only is their menu huge, but there is literally something for everyone. 8 different types of burgers, Mexican, Asian food, soups, desserts etc., serving vegan, vegetarian and macrobiotic menu options (they serve fish). But If you are new to the NY area or are just a foodie looking for a new place, please check this out. Every time we visit NY we come here at least once every day, or every other day (the prices are very affordable and the portions are large). They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the service is AMAZING. The staff is attentive and friendly and no lie, the waitresses there are the best I have ever seen. Honestly, my boyfriend jokes about how much he has to tip them (because they are that good). Beautiful lighting at night, at right near NYU, a must-go-to.

Still displaced from the hospital thanks to Hurricane Sandy, my supervisor (Hot in Hurr) and I headed to a university library to work. For lunch we visited Quantum Leap, a natural foods restaurant in the West Village. Hot in Hurr selected the soba noodle salad, which contained the alarmingly flourescent green seaweed that prompts you to extract your portable Geiger counter, tofu, assorted veggies, and the aforementioned noodles. The tofu had a lovely sesame/soy flavor, but the dish bordered on overly salty. I selected the roasted veggie/tofu salad, which had a wonderfully diverse array of vegetables and nicely seasoned tofu. I could eat this salad every day and be a very happy camper. We had a nice experience and Quantum Leap and would definitely return for another leisurely lunch.

We started out with the Blue Corn Nachos which were to die for. If you think Nachos with a meat substitute sounds unpleasant, you have to try these. We shared those down to the last tortilla crumb. Fortunately if you are a seafood lover, they have several items on the menu that are must-haves such as Malaysian Spiced Red Snapper. If you are visiting NYC, it's worth it to be adventurous and go over to the Eastside for some flavorful Vege

Oh the challenge of eating well on a student's budget. McDonald's, Burger King, wings & beer. Sound familiar? Well here's another option to get some hearty and healthy food in that belly. Quantum Leap is a quaint spot in the middle of Greenwich Village an
