Barn Joo 35 - New York City - Photo album

Delicious Korean style tapas. The seafood pancake was pricey and I don’t think it’s worth it, but besides that, everything I had was good. Love the mushroom and shishito pepper. The crispy tofu was a pleasant surprise. Pork, potato, and rice cake was delicious. Buns were also good. Service was good.
Adorable, intimate, Delicious, friendly. These would be the four word I would use to describe Barn Joo 35. We had a party of 6 at 8pm on a Saturday and didn’t have reservations but the staff got a table together for us in the blink of an eye. The restaurant is quaint and has a lovely atmosphere. The
Such a fun restaurant!! Delicious food and great vibes. I will say the music made for a louder ambiance but the music was bangin. I was so tempted to get up and dance multiple times. As for the food, my friend is the Korean expert so I can’t say I can recall all of the dishes and their names perfec
Had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The ambiance was delightful, and the interior had a charming vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. The added bonus of spinning the fortune wheel for free food and drinks with a reservation is a great touch(only for those who have reservation) . Don't miss
Not All You Can Eat! …but the best KBBQ I’ve had in the area in a while. Sooo worth it!! Ok our group enjoyed ourselves and ate the perfect portion unlike the all you can eat places where you end up just gross lol. The meats and fish where so flavorful and fresh. The service was fast and unrushed
Love the food and cocktails here! Best chili shrimp in KTown by far. Pictures is the BBQ Chicken main with side of rice. Highly recommend.
05/20/23; First meal in nyc this summer and had it with this LA来的NYsoul. (Was trying to go to Chong dang gol but the line was too long.. The galbi-jjim is okay, mainly sweet which I don’t hate, but I’d say it’s lacking other flavor like savory and spiciness. The soft shell crab is pretty nice with
Had an excellent time at Barn Joo 35. I've enjoyed the Korean tapas concept at Danji before and Barn Joo doesn't disappoint either! We had the Seafood Pancake, Steamed Veggie dumpling, and Barn Joo Salad and greatly enjoyed all of them a lot. The lemonade with its glowing light in the glass was a n
Super good food. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Hidden little gem. Ordered the veggie Japchae and the tofu and mushroom hot stone bowl. Both we amazing.
Went on a Monday evening- the restaurant was full! Luckily found a table. Ordered the soju drink- nothing exciting. For apps we ordered the dumplings and truffle fries. The dumplings were good, truffle fries average. Main course- veggie japche - exceptional! Loved every spoon of it; tofu and mushroo
Really liked our stop here. Food came out fresh and drinks were well made. I especially enjoyed their pomegranate drink. Happy hour is available. Bathroom is downstairs. Parking is very rare but possible. Great ambience inside with attentive staff.
I visited Barn Joo with my friends for a late lunch. It was quiet since it was between lunch and dinner so it was easy to chat. I enjoyed the music, atmosphere, and food. The restaurant is a bit small so the tables and chairs are close together but everything else is fantastic! I ordered the bibimba
Came here for lunch on a Thursday at 145pm. Thank goodness we made reservations because this place was packed. They have an awesome lunch combo available from 12p to 4p on weekdays. I got the katsu lunch combo ($26) and it came with all these side dishes. My daughter got the Tofu mushroom hot stone
We shared beef buns, pork fried dumplings, and sweet potatoes glass noodles with vegetables. All were delicious but we couldn't taste any sweet potatoes. Cocktails were lovely and refreshing.
The food was great and came out in a timely fashion. The server knew the menu and offered recommendations. The flight of sake was great! Came with a friend and had a great time. It was toward the end of night and closing so service seemed a bit rushed, but still great overall.
Samantha was awesome. She recommended me a hot stone dish and I wished less rice. Everything came in perfection - one of the best in k-town!
Came here around 5:30pm in a Wednesday and the place was at capacity. I don’t think you could have just left asked in without a wait. If you come on time for your reservation, they let you spin a wheel with prices, so you can win kimchi or some other yummy thing. The food was good, but there weren’t
Excellent place, everything is delicious! The service is great, the servers are very nice and attentive. I keep coming here with friends and family. It became my favorite Korean place in New York! Highly recommended. 😋👌
