Orso - New York City - Photo album

It's a cute family spot for Italian food on a street packed with tourist traps, a recommended place if you're thinking about going to a show nearby. The restaurant is small and cozy, nothing splashy and the service is very attentive and friendly. The menu is extremely small and limited, so make su
Quiet and discreet little Italian restaurant that I am in love with. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and the service was very attentive and pleasant. Their hours are more forgiving for late shows, but the food is some of the best you will get in Times Square/Theater District area. Another wond
Was one of Nora Ephron’s favorites (I’m not usually one for a celebrity rec). We loved everything we had. Husband had Branzino and I had pasta. Small and cute. Menu changes regularly. Our server had been there for 10+ years. Likely to become a favorite soon.
Finding a good restaurant in NYC’s theatre district is, for some reason, not an easy task. Orso is a step above most of the pre/ post show restaurants, but not a standout in general NYC standards. We got the mushroom pizza to start and found it dry and basic. The pastas however were great. Perfectly

First stop in New York, I must say I've never had mozzarella di bufala quite like this! It's so soft and melts in your mouth. I got the pappardelle funghi for dinner and for dessert I tried the afogato it's espresso and vanilla gelato. Also the service was exceptional!
Leave the craziness of Times Square behind and enjoy a wonderfully adult meal at this terrific local restaurant. The service was great and our meals were delicious. A great option before a Broadway show - we'll be back!
Delicious, warm, and intimate New York Italian dining experience. My wife and I visited Orso after a Friday night showing of Hamilton at the nearby Richard Rodgers Theater. We were greeted by our attentive and knowledgeable server, Tom soon after we were seated. He helped select a delicious bottle o
