Rubirosa - New York City - Photo album

Went on a hot date Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. I love pizza so I was really excited. Ambiance was nice but this place was super packed...Wait time was two hours, even to sit at the bar you need a reservation! We got lucky and got seated after a few minutes 😁 service was great, calamari
Rubirosa, hands down the best Italian restaurant in NYC, holds a special place in my culinary heart. Whenever I'm in the city, a visit to Rubirosa is not just a suggestion; it's a mandatory stop. I've even gone to the extent of planning entire trips around the anticipation of savoring what I conside
The food at this place is 10/10. We got calamari for appetizer and it was really good. The waiter let us know that we have option to order 2 different styles on one pizza so we got volka sauce and something else that I forgot the name but they were both so delicious. The crust is so thin and tasty.
Amazing pizza in an amazing space. We came without reservation and when we told them we were tourists without a phone to receive SMSs, they did their best to accommodate us right away at the bar. The bartender was a very talented and kind young man who helped us with all questions about beers. Also,
Must try while in New York! Definitely one of the best pizzas I had. Arrived at around 10pm. Waited around 20 min to get a table. The waiter was great and welcoming. We ordered the large pizza half vodka sauce and half supreme. Both were amazing but I gotta say we enjoyed the vodka sauce more. The p
Great coal fired pizza in the north side of lower Manhattan. The inside is very cozy and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow and honestly not the friendliest (even by New York standards)- We arrived at 11:30 on a Friday and were the first of 3 parties in the restaurant, by 12:30 th
Finally got a chance to try Rubirosa and the pizza did not disappoint. It’s fantastically thin and full of flavor. We ordered a half Tie-Dye Pizza and half Rubirosa Supreme. We also ordered the Stuffed Artichoke, but were underwhelmed so would skip that next time. I’ll definitely be back for the pi
Pizza: Super thin, crisp crust with a satisfying chew. Savoury with delicious toppings. Very, very good. Ambiance: 10:30pm on a weeknight, place is hopping, dark and moody, but lively. We ordered one large 1/2 vodka sauce, 1/2 supreme and polished it off between the two of us. Can’t wait to go bac
I have eaten many Neapolitan pizza but this pizza blew my mind. Tie dye pizza is really solid. The vodka tomato sauce + pesto is out of this world. Calamari and Lumache alla Vodka pasta is also really solid. Highly recommend all these.
Super nice cozy place. The pizza and garlic knots were one of the best I’ve ever had! There is nothing like Arugala topping pizza! Pizza was thin and crispy just the way I like it. You can taste the great quality. Highly reccomend.
