Molly's Cupcakes are one of my favorite cupcake and cake bakery's, even better, they also cater to larger events. We hired Molly's for our wedding in Queens New York. It was a delicious hit. The same incredible soft and delicious cake with the perfectly portioned icing, our party was 220, so we had a three tier cake for the direct wedding party and 170 minis. At the end of the night we had 2 boxes left to take home for leftovers. Much appreciated, no issues, we would highly recommend.
We had the red velvet and chocolate cupcakes and I can't tell which one I like better - both were moist and super flavourful! I don't think you can lose - pick any cupcake and you'll be happy.... Great job!
Just tried one of their cup cakes (Tiramisu) and I am in love! Great taste, firmed and well balance overall. First time visiting Molly's cupcakes and for sure not the last time. Bought a few other cupcakes (different ones) to bring home for the family to taste. I will follow up with an update. Great customer service.

We stopped in for a little sweet treat after having lunch at John’s Pizzeria. This place was so good! We ordered the Blueberry cheesecake and Ron Bennington cupcakes. The blueberry cheesecake had a wonderful and light flavor, that developed with each bite. There was a graham crust crumble on top with fresh blueberries that provided a perfect last bite. The Ron Bennington was a heavier cupcake with peanut butter filling inside with a chocolate ganache topping. It was decadent! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood!
Molly’s Cupcakes not only has the BEST cupcakes in NYC they also have the most caring staff! I love the innovate flavors and the make your own option. My son and I had the best time swinging at the countertop while enjoying our delicious cupcakes!
Pre-ordered lots of cupcakes for a celebration! We rented a car to pick them up and the cupcake pickup went smoothly. Everything was packaged nicely so that we could put them in the back seats.
Favorite NYC cupcake place!
Their filled cupcakes are a dream (my fav is the birthday cake one) and their custom cakes are even better! I looked around and price compared so many bakeries and nothing beat the value and quality of Molly’s.
My friends and I love coming here for cupcakes and board games. An amazing hang out and catch up spot. Definitely recommend stopping by!
Cupcakes to me its boring and not my favorite, but not until I have tried them at this place. It serves the best cupcakes ever!!!
I tried its peach first, and it has shocked my taste buds. So I bought the apple, and I couldn't stop until I have tried its creme brulee.
Stopped by randomly and it is so cute in there. They have swing seating and the tables look like desks. Gave me classroom vibes and the staff was friendly while I tried to figure out what I wanted.
I’m not a big fan of cupcakes with filling inside which is why I gave it a 4/5 stars but if you like that, Molly’s is the place for you. I ended up choosing the cake batter cupcake one and the filling inside tasted like cake batter. I love cake batter so that was an exciting flavor to taste.
I’ll definitely go back to try a couple more because the cupcakes are cute and not ridiculously sweet.

I recommend the seasonal cupcakes which change each month, often with fresh berries or fruit filling in the summer. For June I like the strawberry & lemon cupcakes but prefer lighter whipped cream and meringue over buttercream
- strawberry shortcake: filled strawberry jam, brown sugar, buttercream topping and fresh strawberry
- lemon meringue: lemon cake filled with lemon curd and topped with toasted meringue (from egg whites)
For the regular cupcakes, I recommend the creme brulee (a seemingly healthier, lighter, custard filled, berry topped option), and lighter whipped cream based peach cobbler.
- peach cobbler: vanilla cake with brown sugar streusel, cinnamon peach puree filling, topped with homemade whipped cream, and a sliced peach.
- creme brulee: vanilla cake, classic creme brulee custard, carmelized sugar coating and glazed berries.
My favorite of the chocolate based cupcakes was the May
- chocolate raspberry: chocolate cake, filled with fresh raspberry puree, topped with chocolate ganache
and also recommend
- flourless chocolate cake with a dulce de leche ganache filling, vanilla bean buttercream and topped with cocoa powder
