Third Wave Cafe

My friend was looking for a restaurant with a gluten-free menu and this place was highly rated by the gluten fee community. Although I do not eat gluten-free, we both absolutely loved this place! Five stars all the way! The blackened redfish sandwich was fantastic! The outdoor dining in the back patio was tropical and relaxing! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The jalapeño margarita was fresh and delicious. Overall, we absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to return!

My hubby and I went on a New Year dinner date in New Smyrna, FL. We stopped by Third Wave cafe and wine bar, and after a short wait we were seated at the bar. Oh my goodness, it was incredible, and perfectly aligned to our Mediterranean diet. The short rib hummus was massive, it was the tastiest hummus I ever ate and could easily feed 6 people as an appetizer. I had the broccoli salad with chicken, and my hubs had the octopus. Best dinner we have had on New Smyrna!! One thing I have to call out, is that our bartender, Nate, was spectacular- The drinks were delicious, and he was working harder than anyone else in that place, by far. We sat at his section of the bar, and the man wouldn’t stop making cocktails! In the words of my husband “the restaurant would have a big problem if Nate decided to leave”. Overall, excellent experience, and a “must stop” while in Florida!

WOW! We had a fantastic dinner at Third Wave and great service. The food and cocktails were exceptional. Simply delicious food made with high quality ingredients, exquisitely served in a beautiful garden atmosphere. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. What an unexpected delight!

This was a gold find here in New Smyrna beach Flagler street. I got up before sunrise to walk the beach and found this place. They are open for coffee etc but breakfast doesn't start till 9am. The decor and atmosphere was definitely different but fun beach/island feel. They have resident chickens outside and posted signs to please don't throw your cigarette butt on the ground the chickens need to quit smoking. What? That was a clever move and comical statement. The staff were great and very helpful. I am going to rate this restaurant a 10/10 best stop. Give them a try very tasty clean organic food
