Review Madison Restaurant - New Port Richey

BLERTA MORINA
Went for breakfast for the first time at this place. It looks really neat from outside, but the food ??? Canned spinach frustrated me a lot , also my son ordered Chicken tenderS ( plural ) we all know how they look like right? They brought him a fried 1 piece of chicken ( hand palm size ). Not going back again , good that we live close to it and I went back home and made my own breakfast.

Food here is excellent! I had the chicken salad platter for lunch. French onion soup was the best I've had in a while. Generous portions and everything was super flavorful. Tommy was so friendly and welcoming! We will be back!

I went for lunch here today. The food was delicious! It was served hot and fresh. The restaurant was very clean and nice inside. What stood out to me the most, the service was exceptional. My waitress was friendly and super efficient. It was by far one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a really long time.

Excellent Service & Good Affordable Food The service here was excellent and the place is very clean and updated. Our food was out lighting fast. (5-7 min. after we ordered) I love that you can get breakfast or lunch and there is something for everyone. We ordered and everyone got a small bowl of homemade coleslaw with a dill spear on top. What a nice treat! The Reuben had a good amount of thinly sliced corned beef. The fish and chips was a very large Cod fillet and the Monte Cristo was amazing. I was a bit disappointed with the gyro, which is my own fault because you don't order Greek food when you're not a Greek restaurant. They had several Greek items on the menu so I thought that it would be authentic. The pita and sauce were perfect but it was a bit light on the meat and I could tell that the meat was not shaved off of the lamb spindle. The meat pieces were all the same size and equally thinly sliced. It reminded me of strips of turkey bacon only lamb. The fries could have been cooked about 1 more minute in the fryer. Overall, excellent place for lunch or breakfast. I can't wait to try some of the breakfast items. We will be back!!

Great meats with the breakfast. The eggs were also done well. Disappointing thing is that the pancakes, one of the simplest things you can order which should be hard to mess up, were undercooked and had to be sent back. Also, the pancakes are very thin and not fluffy at all. Chocolate cream soda was something I'd never heard of and was very delicious. Basically chocolate milk and seltzer water, something apparently popular in the New England area.

Even though our friend Tom has retired from working there. The food and service is just great, as before. Good luck to the new owners.

Went there recently and won't go back. Got a breakfast omelet which was one of the smallest omlets I have ever ate. Substituted hasbrowns for 3 small tomato slices which was an upcharge for some reason. Super expensive for a sub omelet. Left still hungry and small omelet, tomato slices and a coffee was $13. It's just a breakfast guys. Super easy to make and shouldn't be that expensive.
