Review Cross Keys Diner - New Oxford

First time here, and left a great impression. Atmosphere was great, restaurant was clean, and boy oh boy that Chicken Cordon bleu was amazing! And for 7.95 you can not ask for a tastier sandwich.

We stopped for lunch coming down 94 into Hanover and got a very nice lunch! Haddock was super fresh and liver and onions were good

Had a great lunch here today, the baked haddock. Came with two veggies, one of which was rice pudding that was incredible!! The waitress was very good at keeping my coffee filled and the food came out quickly.

It is very sad for me to hear of the closing of The Cross Keys Diner!! My Dad drove Feed Truck for D. E. Horn & Co. & then Penfield Feeds from 1965 until about 1984!! He would always take me on the truck with him when I didn't have school & wasn't old enough to be with my friends while he was at work!! Cross Keys was one of a few restaurants that was our favorites!! Always had delicious food, great service and atmosphere!! I just wish that I could come eat there again before they close!!! I have missed eating there for the last 40 some years, even though my late husband & I stopped there a few times over the years; the food and all your was still great!!! I have missed eating there and will continue to miss eating there even more!!!

I used to take my mom there for breakfast or a lunch special. We both enjoyed the food and the service. I'm sorry to see another great local business go by the wayside. I wish the owners and staff the bery best!

Stopped in on a Sunday morning around 10:00am for the breakfast buffet. The food was pretty good, they offer an omelet station, plenty of bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, pancakes, French toast, cream chip beef, fruit, eggs, home fries. Only appeared to be one waitress and so we waited on drinks a few times. It's not cheap, it was $60 for 4 of us.

Although this place doesn't look that nice from the outside, and wasn't the cleanest in the lobby, the food was really good and the workers were nice and helpful. I had the fried fish basket and it was really good! Instead of the frozen fish that I expected, it was fresh cod, hand-breaded and fried at the restaurant, and it was delicious. The hostess said that the fried fish and broasted chicken were the best sellers. I would eat here again if I was in the area.

I ordered the Hog Maw off of the specials. I was told it was two good sized slcees. I was two slices maybe a bunch thick total. Fried with gravy on them. Very bland taste.
