I have followed this food truck around the city for years! When they opened the initial brick & mortar I was thrilled! Initially I was a little disappointed but since they reopened I can tell you this is what I was waiting for. I ordered take out last night. The tacos and avocado fries were perfect.
Food is great, service leaves some to be desired. Overall, I would eat here again, just with lowered expectations for service.
We ordered the chips and queso, avocado fries, machaca Kahn taco, Seoul man taco, off the hook taco, Delta prawn, and messin with Texas taco. We didn't have a bad bite.
This is a great locals place. If you are looking for a place that the locals go, then stop here. The food was amazing! I live authentic cooked food and this place has it. 16 different styles of tacos. They have burritos and all of the usual, but up a notch. Go by and tell Alex hello! Very friendly,
Back open and even better than before. Well staffed and great food. Quick and great service. Glad we have another solid taco place uptown. Veteran owned!
Really innovative and delicious! Avocado fries and cauliflower nachos are magnificent and the tacos and quesadillas are generous and superb.
Happy to see Taeaux Loceaux transition from their truck model to brick and mortar. Food standards are high and delicious. The prices increased since the truck but prices are not unreasonable. Overall satisfied. 4 star rating because the Seoul Man was my favorite and it tasted better on the truck tha
Friendly staff, good food, and a solid happy hour. What more could you ask for? Especially since it seems like they fixed their kitchen to keep up with the dinner rush.
First tried them when they were a weekly food truck at CHNOLA; excited that they got an actual restaurant. Staff and owner were very nice. I would pass on trying their chips and salsa/ guac, but the tacos and quesadillas are amazing!

It’s good but not even close to how good the truck was...Just feel like the staff can’t cook as well as the guys at the truck can!!!
First time I had it it was okay. Gave it a second chance- was worth it. Really good. Two brisket tacos, drink, beans and rice for $13 is slighty overpriced (they could give you some more beans and rice). Other then that it was good. The rice has great flavor. And the beans were nice and hot.
Street taco's is a good description here, but with added love. Avocado fries are to die for. Great margaritas, and glorious variations with a nola twist for those who love taco's. They have food truck, and brick and mortar. One of my fave restaurants in this city. You can't go wrong.
This is my go-to spot for tacos! They have an incredible selection of unique tacos like the Seoul Man and the classics as well. Their avocado fries are a must-try! Their food is great!
I really like going here to taceaux loceaux. The 1st time I had them was when they where still a taco truck running around uptown and the food is always amazing to eat. I had the shrimp tacos and they were absolutely amazing to eat. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that comes.
Its been a while since I was last here, actually wrote off this place after several mediocre meals...not tonight. They've totally redeemed themselves and absolutely crushed it. Best tacos I've had in a long time, can't wait to come back!
