Chris's Cakes And Donuts - New Orleans - Photo album

Ordered my daughter's birthday cake 2 weeks in advance and although the cake was beautiful, it tasted very dry and thick and not fresh.
Chris's is known for "soft" "moist" "sweet but not too sweet" cakes and donuts. The also have a pretty large breakfast selection that you can alter how you like (depending). Just call EARLY IN ADVANCE when ordering a cake for a special occasion! Perfection takes time. 🤙🏾
Its hard to find a place that has good donuts, that you don't have travel across the city for. I'm lucky to only have to travel down the street from my house. Hot donut ans fresh, you have a wait some times but its worth it. I love the pieces of cakes they have, not loaded in sugar ,just right. Keep
I loved my son's cake and he did to...we will be going here from now on keep up the good work 😍😍
Took the family down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and stopped here for some donuts. They were very good. However we also tried the king Cake & that was amazing. We went back three times during our trip. Absolutely delicious
Chris has the best cakes, donuts, and breakfast; they are simply the best. I have to visit Chris bakery every time I come home to New Orleans. I even order my cakes for any occasion from Chris, although I live in Alabama. Chris bakery is the best.
OMG, their doghnuts are amazing!!! We stopped by during our visit of NOLA because we were looking for breakfast other than fast food, and we like to support local mom and pop shops. Coffee was good and the doghnuts absolutely delicious! We are well travelled and like good food and have tasted doghnu
There cake is super moist n one of the only places that have master fondant. Cake icing is the best not super sweet but still taste traditional. Also there 3d cake skills is 1 of the best.
Stopped for breakfast donuts, doughy with right amount of soft and 'meatinesss' and lovely and coffee is surprisingly not as usually watered down that I find in the states. They gave my husband plenty of ham and bacon and overflowing grits.
Best donut I have tasted ever. They were glazed, hot and would melt in your mouth. If I ever be in that part of country I would go back there. But do not go there in a hurry, it's a busy place in the mornings.
I ordered the grits breakfast plate and they gave me an amount of food in the ballpark of a “Man vs Food” style eating challenge. And that mellow vibe, *mwah* (that’s me kissing my fingers like an Italian cartoon character)
