Most unusual Mexican food I have had in New Orleans. Good, but a little different.

Really liked it. Picked up some take out. got lengua, flautas, and shrimp cocktail. food was delicous and the people were super frindly. i ordered at the restaraunt and waited about 20 minutes. i know that is not speedy, but who cares, it is a rarity that anyone gets fast service anywhere in new orleans. loved the menu options and everything was made with fresh authentic ingrediants.

Food was delicious and authentic. Yes the service is a bit slow. But just don't come here expecting a quick meal and everything is fine. Give yourself enough time for the wait. I feel the food is worth the wait.

The kitchen was out of a lot of things but probably because it's the Saturday before xmas. I settled for pastor and barbacoa tacos. The pastor were decent but the barbacoa was fantastic! Thry were perfect Mexican street taco size served with only chopped white onion and cilantro, just the way they should be. They also have a fantastic jalapeño salsa that I wanted to drink. My friend got the beef soup and it was great with the addition of some squeezed limes and the jalapeño salsa. The atmosphere was more belonging to a bar and there were only three tables. The music was also blaring in the small room so we had to yell at each other. I'll definitely be back to try some chorizo and lengua tacos 😋

Diablo shrimp was flavorful but not spicy. The green salsa however was quite spicy with a really good flavor. Service was good and the margarita was pretty good as well.

Love the environment, front is more of a bar-type scene and back is quiet. Food is absolutely fantastic, as is the service. I eat a lot of Mexican, all over the place, believe me when I say this is good Mexican food. Very accommodating, friendly, helpful, and timely. Restrooms are clean and cozy. I will most certainly be coming here again!

Overall best Mexican place in NOLA!..The older lady at the bar was so welcoming, even after the kitchen had closed she offered to restart it and cook us a meal. Great wings and even better drinks. Highly recommend checking this place out! Made my whole group feel like we were part of their family was able to choose music on the beatbox and dance the night away. 10/10 will be sure to stop by again on my next trip to New Orleans !

The food was good and we walked through the bar to the back to get to the restaurant. It was just a different experience. Not bad just different.

Cool little spot. They have a solid bar in the front, point pool table, and a dining room in the back. We had tacos and enchiladas and both were very tasty. The chips were fresh and the margaritas were tasty. Much more authentic than many Mexican spots in New Orleans

Moved down from Chicago a year ago and hadn't found a good enough replacement for the mexican restaurants up there, until now. Except for the red salsa being kinda mediocre, this place is a godsend for someone from the north looking for a great burrito. Definitely gonna be ordering from here frequently.

Great service, great food, good selection at the bar. Not only Mexican food, but other Latin American dishes as well. If there is something you want that you don't see on the menu, you can ask and if the kitchen can make it for you, they will.
