The was pretty good, biscuit are made fresh and tasty. Potatoes had a nice seasoning to them. Coffee was standard diner coffee, nothing to brag about. Place was pretty dead went I went in and then filed up in 15 minutes. I'd probably go back. Only thing that was bothersome was a couple came in wit
I like this place, especially for breakfast time. Every time I am near Harahan, I always end up going there for a quick bite. It's never too crowded or loud. Food is always good and comes out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this place and give it a 5 stars!!!

A little cramped but the food more than makes up for it! You could tell that most things were homemade and tasted great. Despite being busy, everybody was more than attentive and caring. Couldn't recommend it more!
Great little local breakfast place in Harahan, La. if you’re looking .About 15 tables and booths. Typical breakfast 7.00…but coffee 2.50. Great service.
Went here for breakfast. Food was amazing, service was friendly and prices were extremely reasonable. I recommend the omelette sandwich.

The new Jefferson 10% sales tax didn't stop us form enjoying a good meal here.
I've been going to Hickory Cafe for many years and never disappointed. For breakfast, the Hickory Omelet with shrimp is delicious. That's my go-to choice. For lunch, the Dirty Turkey is a good one and the Bleu Cheese burger is always a tasty choice. Come hungry and you'll be satisfied.
My husband and I eat here regularly and love it so much.
