Shahrazad Cafe - New Orleans - Photo album

Shahrazad's has several things working in it's advantage to make this a nice neighborhood spot. They have affordable options on their menu. Their menu has some Mediterranean items as well as burgers, American sandwiches and sides. They are on the corner of Magazine & Bordeaux and are currently BYOB
New place. I was greeted by all. Clean decor, kind of nice. I just tried a gyros to go. Comes with fries. Very tasty. The meat, romaine lettuce, tomatoes and onion with tzatziki sauce all go into the pocket of the pita. Real Good. The fries have some kind of pepper on them, made them very, very good
I ordered the Magazine Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries were perfect, not too soft not too crunchy. Burger was a nice size. I had to remember to breathe. Chicken Shawarma was also great. Hummus was great. Would definitely recommend. Will be back.
So happy that the neighborhood finally got an excellent Middle-Eastern restaurant. We had the chicken shawarma and fried cauliflower. I like to test the staples of any place before I decide to go again. It was so delicious, perfect seasoning and presentation! I definitely will be going back to sampl
I hit here on a regular basis, I love the service and the atmosphere. I love the food the best very authentic tasting. I have tried many different things on the menu and haven't had anything bad yet if you're eating on Magazine Street this is a destination dining experience.
I ate here on a whim today, and I have to say this place is very deserving of their near-perfect rating. I got the Chicken Shawarma special, and that had to have been one of the most delicious plates of chicken I've eaten. Everything was moist and flavorful, my only regret was not buying some baba g
Lovely little Mediterranean place right across from Tal's hummus. I prefer this place to Tal's, their chicken shawarma is the best in the city by far. Fantastic hummus and other classic sides as well. It's BYOB too, so stop into Le Bon Temps next door and get yourself a drink before heading in!
We went at an off hour so it was empty. The service was great and the food was super tasty. Had beef kabob and beef shawarma. Everything was delicious. Had a table with a view if the street so lots of good people watching. We will go back
