Alois J Binder Bakery - New Orleans - Photo album

So sad that this 90 year old bakery closed. A real neighborhood bakery with excellent, unpretentious pastries and breads. Locals always hanging out drinking coffee and the lady behind the counter was real old school New Orleans, a delight to talk to and always recognized us because we would stop i
Always loved them pre/post Katrina. Family owned and family feel. French bread is great, especially when hot, and their pistolettes are amazing. I love there pastries too.
Excellent little bakery with awesome baked goods. The chocolate doughnuts (chocolate yeast doughnuts, not just chocolate covered) are great. Their king cakes (in season) are great and they ship.
best shoe sole pastries in a city fulll of good bakeries. Guests at Banana Courtyard B&B New Orleans are served these often. Awesome treat for them.
Excellent petit fleurs and mini eclair. Was too intimidated by the sinker, but I convinced a fellow customer to try one out. Happy trails to him!
The doughnuts here are out of this world! Their french bread is the best in the city as well.
Amazing bread. Tint little place, hard to find but worth the trouble
