Betsy's Pancake House - New Orleans - Photo album

So I learned about this restaurant through an article online about the New Orleans streetcar routes, and it recommended them for your breakfast stop. I'm glad we followed the recommendation because this is probably one of the best breakfast places we tried in the area. The pancakes are REALLY good
The pancakes were delicious. The omelette was good. We didn't have to wait long. The waitress was nice but seemed grumpy.
I had their breakfast special, nothing fancy. The cheese grits were great! The atmosphere was friendly and I met the #1 customer (Benjamin) who all the waitresses know and take care of. ❤ That was really nice!! I will go again perhaps for lunch, the specials looked good!
Food is simple and very well prepared. Portions are perfect size, and the price is extremely reasonable. I ordered the pancake special which included two pancakes, four pieces of bacon, shredded hash browns, and two scrambled eggs. All of this for about eleven dollars.
I was at the VA hospital and had a lag between appointments around lunch time. I opened Google Maps to find a restaurant near the location and spotted Betsy’s Pancake House nearby and decided to try it. I was absolutely pleased with my dish of spaghetti and meatballs. My dad had the red beans with h
Food was great! Best grits I've had in New Orleans. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was welcoming and so comfortable. This will be my new daily spot.
I truly love this place Staff is always friendly and treat you like family Food is pretty good- Terrible sausage gravy and sausage Pattie’s Other than that- A great spot for some good home cooked food
Great place for breakfast. Gets really busy but worth the wait. Staff are really friendly and there's a huge menu. Like the Chicken Fried Steak with grits and eggs. Go for the rye bread. Excellent value for money too
Great place to have a nice meal, right in front of a trolly stop.
This is naturally New Orleans. If you want a home cook meal or something at your grandmother may have cooked. The ambiance's New Orleans as it gets in the owners and the waitresses are. Have fun. Be nice. Don't forget to tip
I absolutely LOVED this place! Nice people who treat you like family and give you a home cooked meal. Parking was easy too. Ask for Steph—she was Amazing!!
A hidden gem!!! A quaint family owned business that has been passed down over the generations with EXCELLENT food and friendly staff. Dining room and bathrooms were very clean. Tables spaced apart for social distancing and the staff all wore masks.
It is everything you'd hope from an independent, unpretentious, neighborhood breakfast and lunch spot that's been around for decades. Regulars, attentive friendly hustling staff, large menu, and consistently excellent food.
This place deserves an even higher rating than five stars. This was the best joint a tourist could hope for. The service was amazing. Alona was the most personable person I've come across in the entirety of reviewing. She was more attentive and friendly than my own grandmother. (And I'm Italian) The
The portions are quite large and at very reasonable price. My husband had the shrimp and green onion omelette that was our favorite, the waffles and pancakes are super yummy the home style hash brows are Some thing we had never tried before, and they are very flavorful a little spicy and very well s
Typical NOLA dive setting. Fantastic service at the counter from Melissa. The fish sandwich on French bread was fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try breakfast.
