Ruby Slipper Cafe - New Orleans - Photo album

A busy spot for breakfast and brunch food. Offers typical southern items such as fried chicken, biscuits, gravy. The food was good, but nothing too special. This location felt a bit bland compared to their downtown spot that we went to last year.
Absolutely delicious. We made a point to stop here and I'm so glad we did. Amazing eggs Benedict, great pancakes, and amazing bourbon milk punch!
Food was awesome! Wait was a little lengthy, but worth it. Our party of 6 had all different plates which gave us a variety of options. Very nice spot! Pancakes where better than large chains with acronyms!
Had a great brunch here. I was especially impressed with the biscuits which were the best biscuits I’ve ever had. Service was great too. I got the mimosa flight which was a little sweet for my personal taste but it was nice to try all the flavors. The seasonal pumpkin beignets were decadent.
An excellent breakfast or brunch spot with a good selection of sweet and savory dishes. The fried chicken is flavorful and crunchy, all the eggs benedict did not disappoint. The French toast and the migas platter were also delicious.
Everyone kept telling me to eat here for brunch while I was in town, so I tried it out, and I'm so glad I did. The food was amazing, and the service was even better. Everyone was very friendly and informative. Our servers suggestive selling was on point! She recommended everything that we ordered.
I loved this brunch spot in the Irish Channel neighborhood off of Magazine Street in New Orleans. I miss having grits as a brunch side or accompaniment in Los Angeles. So, I loved the grits and tasted the Shrimp & Grits here. It did not disappoint me either. The French toasts were also unique and fl
Incredible food with the kindest servers! Highly recommend! One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in my life!! Please come to Chicago! This restaurant would be so loved.
Delicious breakfast! Had biscuit and gravy with fried chicken. No way could I eat it all but wanted to. She had one crab cake Bennie and one grit cake with crayfish. Super good as well. Server was really nice and helpful. Glad we hit this place before leaving town.
Went straight here after flying in and did not disappoint!! Was blown away by all the food and excellent service. Wasn’t too packed and sat right away on a weds morning at 11am but 40min-1 hour wait on a Saturday morning.
We stopped here as part of our anniversary weekend celebration and we are glad we did. We had the most pleasant waitress who made sure we enjoyed our breakfast. She recommended delish items and it was very hard to choose from. I settled for the French toast and chicken. The hype was worth visiting t
Travis was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! That New Orleans flavor was in the food, the establishment AND Travis!!!!! Our girls group dropped into this spot for our first meal on the first day of our trip and are considering returning before we leave. Did I mention that Travis made this experience even bette

She was super friendly, knew every detail about the menu and was extremely attentive!! She obviously loved what she was doing and it showed!! She is a great asset to th
SOO good! Walked in on a holiday Monday around 12:30 and seated right away for 2. Ordered fried green tomatoes, hot & sweet fried chicken sandwich, biscuits & gravy with fried chicken, and Bloody Marys. Everything was very delicious! Their green goddess sauce was a tasty ranch substitute as well. O
We stopped here during a hop on hop off tour for brunch on a Friday, so not very busy. Service after being seated was a bit slow, nobody came right over to get us drinks and about had to go ask if someone was going to wait on us as employees were standing around talking. But, the food was great.
My friend and I had brunch here on our first day in NOLA. The food was perfect! Service was a bit slow, but I'm guessing that it's like many of the other service industries right now. It was all good though, as my friend and I took out time enjoying the meal.
The breakfast here was pretty good. Nothing to overly fancy, but the breakfast was good and tasty. I got the French toast/bacon, and the wife got the southern breakfast plate. The French toast was perfect. The wife really enjoyed her food also. The place was spotless and the service was great. Wo
This place is phenomenal, the food is absolutely great! I suggest, the Eggs Blackstone or the Eggs Cochon
The Ruby Slipper Cafe is a great place to eat. There are a lot of different options. I really enjoyed the bananas foster french toast, which was soaked in rum I think. Either way, I am still thinking about that dish now. My husband got shrimp and grits and enjoyed it very much.
