Mona's Cafe & Deli On Frenchman - New Orleans - Photo album

By far the best Lentil soup ever created. Went there just for a quick appetizer. It was amazing. Little mom & pop restaurant staple. Been in business over 20 years. A nice quiet place to relax in New Orleans. You will not be disappointed. Definitely a AAA from me. (Kiss Food Critic) FB.
This is a small nice and clean restaurant within a small grocery store in the heart of French quarters. I ordered shrimp plate(grilled shrimps with sauteed vegetables served with salad, hummus and pita bread). Large fresh shrimps were grilled to perfection. Their hummus was the best I've tested ever
This place has surprisingly good Mediterranean food, given that it is New Orleans and you dont get many options other than Cajun food.I had my lot of Cajun food, and wanted something different to satisfy my appetite and this place did it.
Great customer service and as a local tour guide I'd definitely recommend for the hospitality and location. However, I suggest the establishment uses a freah store made pita or a different store brand. (Tough like steak)
You know a Middle Eastern restaurant is legit when they offer labna, a tangy yogurt dip, as a side. (Also called “lebna.”) I rarely see this item on the menu and immediately ordered it. I was not disappointed—the second the dip and warm pita connected, I knew I was in for a treat. I’m hoping to retu
Good price for good food. I didn't like the salad dressing they used and the rice wasn't that good, but the lamb shank and the vegetables were delicious.
Best lebanese food and drinks with a oriental grocery in the place
Great Middle Eastern food. We Unfortunately, had some Vegans in our party but this place was perfect. They were able to order from so many delicious choices as did we happy omnivores. I highly recommend this place as finding GOOD vegan/vegetarian options is hard to find in this delectable culinary "
Low price and great food. We filled up on appetizers which all were quality. Subtle spicing makes you taste the ingredients without being overwhelming. Fast and frequent service completed the very pleasant eating experience. Recommend!
Went for an afternoon lunch on a Monday. Place was empty = good service! Calzone and two pizzas we ordered were excellent. Prices are reasonable. Definitely superior to some of the other overpriced, stomach-cramp-inducing tourist traps we tried on our trip. Would definitely recommend.
Just had an awesome chicken shawarma and lamb mixed gyro sandwich. I should have taken a photo, but I couldn't wait to eat it up. Perfect size for a perfect price ($6.50). Highly recommended. It's also located in a really cool neighborhood, for an added bonus.
It was nice to do something moderately healthy while in NOLA. Good food, low grease, great flavors. A piece of the familiar while touristing. People get surprised by the mint tea and no alcohol on the menu, but you can BYOB if you want to. Ate here twice this trip, both times made me happy.
We were in town for a business meeting and was ISO Mediterranean cuisine and came across this little place. It was very quaint. The food was good. They are also connected to a little market. The only problem was it was a little hard to get to, but that's just how NOLA is set up. Would recommend givi
A great Lebanese restaurant in the French Quarter. Attention to the customer is amazing. I had a Greek salad that was amazingly good. Everything was fresh and high quality. I would like to go back just to try their Hummus. If you want to get away from the fried food typical of NOLA and want a h
This place ceases to amaze me. The grilled shrimp plate is wonderful and extremely affordable. Ordered the same dish on three separate occasions. The consistency is there!!!! From the salad to the tea to the main dish. Hot and delicious.
